What is Dyspareunia?
The quote isn't necessarily true; at least not all the time. Painful sex can happen to anyone for several reasons. Dyspareunia is abnormal pain, normally in the pelvic area, and it is usually experienced during or after sexual intercourse. It can happen anytime during intercourse, from penetration down to the moment of ejaculation, and you can even continue experiencing some pain after you finish having sex. It can be experienced by both women and men, but generally, women suffer more from this condition.
