One of the rules we try to live by here at SexIs is: Don’t take or give offense easily. We try to be tolerant of opposing viewpoints and look for common ground. We try not to be, well, mean.

To really offend us, you have to push all our buttons, simultaneously, and then not back off an inch. So congratulations, Ladd Ehlinger, Jr. of the new political group, Turn Right USA. You’ve pissed us off.

Ehlinger has produced an ad targeting Los Angeles Councilwoman Janice Hahn that portrays her as a stripper who supports gang violence. The video features two black men holding guns and repeatedly screaming, “Give me your cash, bitch!”

Hahn is running for Congress in a special election.

A writer for Salon.com says he talked to Ehlinger, who said the ad is raising an important issue and that his critics could “suck it.”

So here’s the ad. Truly vile, or are we just being squeamish?
