Whether shocked or aroused, everybody’s talking about it—True Blood stars Alexander Skarsgard, Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer are a naked feast for the eyes on the bloody cover of Rolling Stone magazine. The cover depicts the HBO hit series’ actors completely naked, posed suggestively and covered in dribbles of dark red fluid, with the caption, “They’re Hot. They’re Sexy. They’re Undead.”
Anna Paquin is pressed against her fiancé, Stephen Moyer, with one leg tossed up around Alexander Skarsgard’s hip. It’s possible that Paquin’s inner thigh might have brushed something interesting, as previous reports state that Skarsgard does not wear a sock—or any material shield—while filming nude sex scenes for the show.
True Blood creator Alan Ball supports the carnal nature of the cover, as he said in USA Today, “To me, vampires are sex.” Who are we to disagree?
In other naked news, actor-cum-rapper Joaquin Phoenix recently produced a trailer for his personal documentary, I’m still here, which is reported to contain more male frontal nudity “than you’d find in some gay porn films.” The documentary, directed by Casey Affleck, is slated to debut in September—with or without a major theatrical release.
And Kelly Brook has made good on her word to make August her “Naked Month,” as she appeared on the cover of Love magazine baring everything not daintily covered with a feather boa. The shoot comes soon after the English model and actress’ highly anticipated Playboy shoot, her scantily clad role in the 3D movie Piranha, and the controversial Reebok billboard ad that was said to be too distracting for drivers. We certainly wouldn’t mind if every month were Naked Month.
