The world-renowned Sexpert, who first became famous for her saucy 1980’s talk radio show, Sexually Speaking, Dr. Ruth is also the author of 32 books on sex and various topics, including the lives of Bedouin women living in the Middle East. Before immigrating to the U.S. in 1956, Dr. Ruth spent a portion of her teenage years in post WWII Israel, where she was trained as a sniper. Can this woman get any more awesome?

In other awesome news, Bollywood has rolled out the red carpet in support of homosexual cinema. Several famous stars from the world’s second largest film industry are slated to attend I-View Film 2010, a New York festival that explores “gender, sexuality, culture and religion.”

Hosted by Engendered, a human rights organization based in New York, the festival focuses on the complexities of gender and sexuality in South Asian culture. Panels discussions have been arranged between Bollywood stars and audience members, which are poised to be forums where meaningful dialog on LGBT issues can take place (and where song-and-dance numbers may possibly break out any minute).

Elsewhere, fantasy football takes on a new meaning as MTV2 prepares to air 20-minute episodes recapping the games hosted by the Lingerie Football League.
