While the “disappeared” books are still offered for sale, three of the top five most popular iPad titles were independent erotica, with titles like Six Sexy Stories and Blonde and Wet, before Apple pulled the old switcheroo. Previously, Apple’s been known to threaten the distribution of mainstream publications if adult content wasn’t cut out, as well as censoring a graphic novel adaptation of James Joyce’s Ulysses in order to protect what’s been called their “Disney-like” image.
On the other side of the censorship scale, fashion giant French Vogue recently released a full-page nude spread of their first transgendered model. Known as Lea T, the model is featured standing tastefully bare with minimal makeup, stunning and elegant, and she’s previously appreciated in haute couture shows and in the Italian edition of Vanity Fair.
Also stunning after all these years is Tom Jones, best known for his tremendous voice and sexually-charged songs like “She’s a Lady,” and “Sexbomb.” His newest release just hit number one in the U.K. sales charts—acing out Eminem’s Recovery. That is certainly new, pussycat.
