“Spent the am with Read Across America Compton, reading to the sweetest 1st & 3rd grade students @ Emerson Elementary!” Sasha Grey, best known for her award-winning anal scenes, tweeted on Nov. 2.

And we're sure her fans thought, “How cool is that? Sasha cares about kids. She even reads to them!”

But parents of Emerson Elementary students are, as we're sure you can guess, ridiculously appalled. They've demanded the school explain the decision to let a porn star gone mainstream to play herself and a hooker read to their children. Because obviously, getting paid for sex in any way, shape or form in the past is proof positive that Sasha Grey is an evil person who will—by her very presence, and despite the fact that most of the kids probably had no idea who she is—turn all the kids into sex-crazed lunatics who sell their bodies to make a buck.

So the school figures they'll just deny Grey was ever there.

“We have several celebrities who read to our students each year. The actress you have indicated was not present,” a rep for Emerson Elementary School told TMZ.

The thing is, TMZ has pictures.

But never fear, parents! Sasha Grey is separating herself from her sexual persona even in mainstream movies.

“From now on I will not be playing roles where I play a version of myself, or a hooker, for a very long time,” Grey told FOX411' Pop Tarts. “I think ‘The Girlfriend Experience’ and ‘Entourage’ were the best places to play those two roles and it can’t get any better. I don’t want to repeat myself, and I think if I continue to take those types of roles I will only be given those roles.”

Okay, Sasha Grey. We realize you're going mainstream, but apparently it's still too soon to be out acting like a normal person, at least for some parents of first graders. Even in Los Angeles. You're welcome to come read to us, though!
