Proving that you can't judge a cold-hearted killer by his wrestler name, we bring you the tale of the ”Gangsta of Love”. Or maybe you prefer to call him “Sweet Sexy Sensation”? Whatever name he's going by, the charges against him are rather frightening indeed.
His real name's Andre Davis, and he used to be a professional wrestler. He's from Ohio, and he tested positive for HIV in 2009. And now he's facing fifteen charges of felony assault which could get him sentenced to up to 120 years in prison. Since last month, twelve women have come forward claiming Davis had sex with them after he found out he was HIV positive. This wouldn't be such a legal problem if he'd disclosed his status, and used a condom. But the women say he did neither.
Ohio state law says that's a big no-no. And thank goodness it does. Though we're thinking intentionally infecting an unwitting sex partner with HIV should warrant more than felony assault charges. No information is available regarding whether any of the women tested positive, and we hope they're okay.
