If you know him at all, you know him as Ludacris. He's a label executive, a rapper, an actor, a Grammy winner, and a ... humanitarian? In a sense, yes.
One of the first things Christopher Brian Bridges (Luda!) did when his first album shoved him into the limelight was build The Ludacris Foundation, an organization that helps middle and high school kids realize their artistic potential. Next came wemix.com, where up-and-coming artists can upload their music, and maybe even collaborate with the stars. The man's all about helping young artists realize their dreams. Definitely an admirable trait.
Luda cares about safe sex, too. He's teaming up with Trojan Brand Condoms for the Magnum Live Large Project again. The project's a giant contest of new rappers and you can enter at Youtube.com/MAGNUMLiveLarge ’til April 13.
“Living Large is really the only way to live,” said Ludacris. “That’s why I’m a part of this project for the second year. I’m a huge supporter of the product, I live the life, and I love how Magnum is giving other people the chance to shine and represent the gold standard.”
At least now we know why teens are using condoms more often than adults. One of their idols is pimping them! The condoms, not the teens. Luda!
