Giant Star Sues Itty Bitty Ice Cream Shop
It's the case of the oddly bizarre ice cream shop vs. the sometimes even stranger pop star. Lady Gaga is suing The Icecreamists.
The who?
Remember those people we told you about, a while back, who were serving breast milk ice cream in an ice cream shop in London? The new flavor called Baby Gaga, made from breast milk, lemon zest and vanilla pods? The one that was seized for testing?
Well, Lady Gaga feels that maybe they took this venture a little to far down her side of the shameless self-expression rainbow. Apparently she's the only one born her way. Never mind the fact that pretty much every piece of her image is ripped straight from someone else's.
Lady Gaga's lawyers call the ice cream “nausea inducing,” and say that Matt O'Connor, owner of The Icecreamists, “intended to take advantage of [Lady Gaga’s] reputation and goodwill.”
“This is a David versus Goliath battle I’m convinced we will eventually win. The world’s biggest superstar has taken umbrage with the world’s smallest ice-cream parlor,” says O'Connor.
