Yet another tragic tale from the porn shop, folks. It's getting a bit dangerous to work at physical adult video stores. Dudes rob their own sisters. Fires randomly break out for no apparent reason. Entire cities are doing what they can to shut them down. And jurors aren't even sure the people who work at these stores should receive protection from criminals.
How f’ed up is that? You like sex? Well, then anybody can do whatever they want to you. Sorry 'bout your bad luck.
This guy, though ... This guy really takes the cake.
His name's Michael Angle and he's 26 years old. And he turned himself in to police after allegedly stabbing a woman repeatedly in an adult video store in Bloomington, Ind.
Angle reportedly told police he entered the Garden of Eden, a store in Indiana, with the intention of robbing it. And once inside, he met Lauren Kahn, 47, who had only recently decided to pick up a few working hours at the store to get some extra money for the holidays.
Angle, in a confession, said he repeatedly stabbed Kahn but stopped to chase a witness out of the store. In the chase, Angle dropped the knife, which was recovered by police, and the suspect gave up and left the area when he was unable to catch the witness. Sadly, Kahn died later at IU Health Bloomington Hospital due to the stab wounds.
When asked why he did it, police said Angle indicated he was “broke and lonely.” Don't worry, Mike, old pal. You won't be lonely again for a long time.
