Okay, this post is for ladies only … boys, you can wait in the hall (or sneak in; we’ll look the other way).
So, girls, whaddaya think … would you want to stay at a hotel that is for women only? No men allowed, estro-fest, ix-nay on the enis-pay? AOL Travel reports that London’s five-star boutique hotel The Dukes is betting that some women will, introducing “Duchess” rooms for ladies traveling solo and groups of women traveling together. The rooms will only be attended to by women. Men are verboten.
Women-only accommodations have been popping up all over the world, Holland reports, but in Denmark the women’s only floor of the link was ruled discriminatory and owners were ordered to remove the ban on men, though it has yet to do so.
On one hand, an all-girl floor sounds like it might be really relaxing in that slumber-party kind of way. On the other hand, it could put the kibosh on ‘come back to my place,’ if you did decide you wanted a little male vacation action and found it. And then there’s the danger of it turning into a dorm situation, with some white wine drunk on the all-female floor inviting herself into your room for girl talk and ending up crying about her jerk boyfriend until she passes out on your couch.
So … whatcha think?
Guys, you can come back in now…or out from behind the curtains. You’re most certainly never banned from Sex Feed.
