Here’s a tip about handcuffs that we hope nobody else needs: it’s only fun and sexy to put them on someone if they agree to it.
A 24-year-old Taco Bell employee from Dalton, Ga., was arrested for handcuffing a co-worker to him after she refused to go out with him. Managers at the world’s most highly regarded hangover-food chain had changed the shift of the 18-year-old woman in order to keep Jason Dean away from her, the Times Free Press reports. But that wasn’t good enough; on Monday night, he waited for her in the parking lot after her shift and handcuffed himself to her. Her screams brought out employees who called police, causing Dean to release himself and flee. He was later arrested in his home.
Dean has a history of ooky behavior. Prior to this incident detectives had been opened an investigation stemming from a complaint that he tried to contact an underaged teen online; he had also claimed to be a volunteer firefighter and wasn’t. He worked for a fire station but was fired for installing a station radio in his car and red lights on top of it.
He’s currently jailed on felony charges of false imprisonment.
Doesn’t anyone just give flowers anymore?
