Mahasti Koosha had a heart attack in 2009. She collapsed in an Eaton Corp. parking lot in Edison, N.J. She had no prior heart problems, yet flat-lined three times on the operating table and needed numerous bypass surgeries. And she's suing her employer for $150 million.
Koosha says “incessant abuse” from male managers caused her so much stress, it almost killed her. She and a coworker, Amy Gaitane, are suing over “gender hostility and discrimination.” They say they were called bitches and propositioned for sex.
The suit claims “Ms. Koosha’s cardiologist told her that her work-related stress had caused her blood vessels to contract, creating blockage in her veins.”
Of course, Eaton says the claims are bogus.
“At Eaton, we do not discriminate,” Eaton spokesman Scott Schroeder said. “Moreover, we embrace diversity and are inclusive in all of our business practices and within our work environments.”
