You know that noise Sideshow Bob makes when he steps on a rake? It would be a really good “Yer creepin’ me out,” noise and one we know that former Secretary of State Condoleeza Rice must have made in her head when she discovered that Moammar Gadhafi had a big crush on her.
“Weird and a bit creepy,” was how she described it on Piers Morgan -- you can see the video here on CNN, also showing a photo album that Gadhafi kept of (innocent) pics of Condi. She talks in her book, "No Higher Honor: A Memoir of My Years in Washington," and with Morgan about Gadhafi also weirding her out by telling her he’d made a video of her, set to a tune by a Libyan composer, “African Flower in the White House.” The video turned out to be composed of, again, innocent pics of her with world leaders.
“I’d actually known he’d had this fixation on me, a couple of foreign ministers told me,” she said, but when she had to go to Libya on diplomatic business she said she tried to keep the conversation on business and “get out.” She was just glad, she said, that “it all came out all right.”
Piers Morgan, of course, had to ask if Gadhafi ever put the moves on her.
“No, no, absolutely not” she laughed and, ever cool-headed, managed to suppress the rake noise.
‘Sokay. We made it for her.
