Using Twitter as your main form of communication with your significant other does not a happy marriage make, folks. Especially if in real life you're (allegedly) having an affair and making comments that put the lie to everything you claim to stand for.
Of course, we're talking about Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher.
“If somebody would have said, 'OK, here is the prediction: You're going to meet a man 25 years old and he's going to see being with you and having your three kids as a bonus,' I would have said, 'Keep dreaming,'” Demi Moore said in a 2007 interview with Vanity Fair when asked about her relationship with Ashton Kutcher. “I think it caught us both by surprise, and particularly him.”
Here we are six years later, and Demi has announced that the couple, sadly, is divorcing.
“It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that I have decided to end my six-year marriage to Ashton. As a woman, a mother and a wife there are certain values and vows that I hold sacred, and it is in this spirit that I have chosen to move forward with my life. This is a trying time for me and my family, and so I would ask for the same compassion and privacy that you would give to anyone going through a similar situation,” she said in her statement to the AP.
Which, of course, means the media's gonna be all up in their biz. Why would they ever want to grant anyone privacy? They'd be out of a job!
We're just wondering what's gonna happen to the DNA Foundation.
Best of luck to you both. Hope you find what you're looking for.
