It seems there will be no more “happy endings” for the men of Stamford, Conn. Police have busted up what they believe is a cog in the wheel of a sex trafficking ring.
Six people were arrested by Narcotics and Organized Crime officers in a sting on La Rue Estetique Spa in Stamford. Two were men aged 67 and 40 “caught in the act” with women who worked at the so-called “spa.” The other four people were alleged to be female prostitutes from Brooklyn, including Natalia Cataraso, who police are calling the “madam.”
The investigation began after police received a call from a resident claiming the spa had been operating for two years without the proper permits, and another from a woman who interviewed with the parlor, but declined the job when she was informed the job required sex acts. NOC officers noticed that a Lexus would drop a number of women off at the parlor, and the men would start pouring in. Police said they believe some of the women are illegal immigrants working as sex slaves.
