So you work behind the counter at a Wells Fargo in a Safeway in Colorado. An older woman walks up to you wearing floppy clothes and a big hat and slips you a note threatening you with AIDS. What do you do?
In Longmont, Col., a teller at a Wells Fargo was faced with this very situation. A woman described as between 55 and 75 years old walked up to her line on Thursday and robbed her without even showing a weapon. All she did was hand the woman a letter, while she kept coughing into a blue bandanna.
Naturally, the frightened teller didn't want the disease the woman claimed to have and apparently didn’t know that you can’t get it from a nearby cough, so she handed over a bag of cash and the crook got away. The police didn't release an amount.
Police described the woman as a "pale, bony, white woman" wearing a train conductor's hat and a Bass Pro Shops hoodie. And from the surveillance photos it's plain to see that the woman is rather nondescript. But if you know an older white woman in Colorado who's about 5' 6" and weighs 130-140 lbs., you should definitely phone it in. Not much to go on, there.
