Whether as a cop on Law and Order or as a male sex symbol on Sex and the City, you have to admit Chris Noth has a certain air about him that can make one's heart quicken a beat. But what are his views on sex? Without Alison Walker of Central Florida's News 13, the world may never have known.
After discussing the similarities (or lack thereof) between Mr. Big and Noth, Walker asked Noth, “What's the deal with unfaithful politicians?”
“I think the deal is is that we make too much of a deal out of it,” Noth told Walker. “I think all people have sexual urges and desires and we can't expect our politicians to be saints, and they're not. But you don't have to be stupid about it. And maybe our politicians have been stupid about it, I guess. But I don't think sex should be a barometer of what a politician—whether he's good or not, frankly ... Ah, and I think we put them to the fire a little too much, or the media does, in order to sell their newspapers and shows.”
We couldn't have said it better ourselves.
