Just in case you were wondering, bisexual men really are bisexual! No we're not joking, and we've got a Northwestern study to back us up!
So what do you think scientists did this time? Asked a bunch of men who identify bisexual if they're sure they're bisexual? Because you know how much they like having their preference doubted …
It's been a longstanding point of contention, perhaps, among many LGBT and heterosexual folk alike. How can a person be turned on by people of all gender identities? Are they confused? Maybe they're just looking for attention, what with it being hip to be LGBT and all? They at least have to be more interested in a particular gender than the other (or any of the others), right?
Northwestern's research group says that previous studies showed that bisexual men surveyed only became aroused by one gender. However, this time around, when they were testing arousal patterns, this group of bisexual men showed physical signs of arousal when exposed to both male and female stimuli. Proving once again that, well, scientists have way more fun than you might think.
