Intro
To be honest, this topic did not just pop into my head unbidden. Threesomes are something I’m more experienced with than I like to admit. In the fall of my sophomore year of college, I was caught up somewhat haphazardly in a three-way relationship with a guy we’ll call Zanzibar and a girl we’ll call Sandy. The first time it happened, I convinced myself that I couldn't let it happen again. About a week of quiet shame later, I got a text from Zanzibar saying that he had been talking with Sandy and that both of them had decided that, if I was willing, we would continue our little ménage-a-trois. He ended up arguing his case so well that it was hard to turn him down.
At this point, I feel it’s important to clarify that despite my appreciation for the form of fellow females, I am not turned on or attracted to women. I am not even bi-curious, and my only experiences kissing other women have been my bisexual friends enjoying the lowering of my inhibitions caused by alcohol (also, in one case, at the enthusiastic encouragement of our boyfriends). This is not any sort of close-mindedness on my part, I just have no sexual attraction to other women. Because this is the case, this “threesome” was really more of a “V” than a “triangle," with Sandy and I sharing the man mostly equally with little touching between us.
Don’t worry, readers, I can hear your thoughts. How long could that sort of thing last? Was there jealousy? After two months, it did indeed start falling apart, but not for the reasons you might guess. My relationship with Zanzibar was strictly sexual, but both he and Sandy had started to develop feelings for each other. I had recently met a future boyfriend and felt that while I was pursuing him I should probably not be having casual sex. The two of them did end up having a tortured relationship for months afterwards, while I pulled away. The three of us remain friends.
More recently, my friend-with-benefits, Discus, offered to bring his male friend over for a threesome. It was out of the blue and I was so startled that he took my shock to mean that I would be unwilling and it never happened. But it got me thinking; I consider myself to be an open-minded person who is willing to try many things, but if he was to offer a threesome with another woman I’d probably say no. It wasn’t jealousy, since we’re not monogamous. What was it? Did other people share my reservations?
And it occurred to me- who better to ask than both my guy friends and the EdenFantasys community? I bought some beer to loosen my buddies’ lips (college guys, oiy) and posted a poll to you good folks.

I'd prefer a MMF threesome over a FMF one. I'd be open to the latter, I'm just not generally attracted to women. So it'd be more of the V thing you describe.
