Now, BDSM equipment can get very costly. So, here are some items thatyou might have around your house, or that you can easily find.
Wooden Spoons and Spatulas: These are great little tools for spanking your naughty submissive. There are likely lots of these items sitting around your kitchen right now. So, you can find one that has the right sting to it, as well as the right amount of flex. You can also find one with a nice handle, as well as all the other attributes that you want. The best part is, wooden spoons and spatulas are dishwasher safe! After you are done spanking your partner's bottom, you can throw it in the dishwasher and use it to make pasta the next day.
Pastry Brushes (both silicone and hair): These are one of our personal favorites to use. They create a wonderful sensation when you run them over your partner’s body. Even if you are not into BDSM, you should try this out. The pastry brush creates a lovely tickling sensation, which feels just great. I would recommend this to absolutely everyone. Again, pastry brushes are easy to throw in the dishwasher when you are done.

Clothes pins and Chip Clips: These work as nipple clamps. You can apply them to your partner’s nipples and use them instead of nipple clamps. They have less adjustment options than nipple clamps do, though, so they can be too tight and painful for some people. However, they do work well for some people. These tend to be really cheap, as well, and you can get a package of 40 for like two dollars. You can also use clothes pins elsewhere on the body; pinch anywhere you want with them, and have fun pulling them off. Just as a note, they are more painful to take off than they are to put on. Once the blood rushes back to the area that was clamped, you get the most pain.
Clothes Hanger: I am talking the pants/skirt kind here -- the kind with two clamps. This type of hanger can also be used for nipple clamps. The bonus with using a hanger is that you have the hanger portion, so you could tie string to it and hang some weights if you wanted. Again, think of the hanger with two clamps, each on one end. You could also Google "BDSM clothes hanger nipple clamps," as EF doesn’t allow nudity in these articles.
Candles: These can create some fun sensations. I recommend buying a cheap picnic table cloth, and putting that down. Then, you can light a paraffin white wax candle (these burn the coldest), and drip it onto your partner. You can burn your partner if you're not careful, so go slow. Take your time to learn what your partner finds comfortable. Wax is hard to clean up, so just save the table cloth for the next time you play with candles.
Brush: A hair brush can also be used to spank your partner. This one cannot be put through the dishwasher, but it will likely be bigger than a wooden spoon. The hairbrush will also probably be more "thuddy" than "stingy."
Pet Collars: If you have a pet and want a collar for your submissive, then why not just put the pets collar on your submissive? Attach a leash to the collar, and you can lead them around the house. You can also go out and buy a pet collar for them if you don't already have one. You can even get those custom pet tags made at any pet store. Keep in mind, however, that pet collars tend to be less comfortable than the leather collars that you can buy here. The pet collars are still fun to play with, though, and they're cheap. They're also easy to get in any town or city, and they can really help to set the BDSM mood.
Scarves/Ties: You can use these objects in two different ways. The first use or them is as a blindfold. Ties tend to be a bit too narrow to use as a blindfold, but scarves work well for this. So, you can tie it around your partner’s head and prevent them from seeing. At this point, you can proceed to teasing them until they are begging for more. You can also use these objects to tie your partner up with. You can tie their hands behind their back, or really wherever you want. Ties tend to be quite strong and durable for this type of play. You do risk causing damage to them, though, and ties are expensive. So, this is more for mental bondage where you just want to feel the restraint there. Ties aren't really strong enough for when you want to really struggle against the restraints.
So, those are some common items that you likely have around your house that you can use for some BDSM fun. These tend to be great starter items before you start investing in a collection. If you have any ideas or additional item suggestions, feel free to leave them in the comments.
