As a wellness activist and a staunch advocate for inclusivity, I firmly believe that disabled folks should be a part of conversations about intimacy and sex. It's time to break down the barriers and stigmas that have excluded disabled people from the world of sexual wellness. Sex toys as a whole are a very important tool for people with disabilities all over the spectrum, but I feel like vibrating dildos are up there as a crowning jewel. Let me explain!

Using a vibrator for sexual pleasure alone might, on itself, already be reason enough to try one. But the fact is that vibrators treat you to so much more than purely pleasure. Few of us may know it, but using a vibrator actually brings along a number of health benefits both physically as well as psychologically - giving every woman a good reason to try one. Below, we have listed down the 5 main reasons why we believe every woman should try a vibrator at least once.

The notion of "Sex Positivity" is one that we are all familiar with: it encourages an accepting, celebratory attitude toward sex and sexuality. There are times, however, when sex positive spaces can turn sour for their participants. Some feel pressured, while others feel ignored, and with these mounting concerns going largely unaddressed, there is a real need to band together, combat this "elephant in the room" and keep our spaces and ideals safe and welcoming for all.

In the aftermath of this horrific crime, pundits are calling on the country to “teach men not to rape” to prevent a repeat of this obscenity – but that message is utterly ridiculous.

Valentine’s Day is just never as good as any other day my partner and I spend together, which is part of the reason I have never celebrated it. Each of my partners over the years have asked me, “So what do you want to do for Valentine’s Day?” and I’ve never known what to say. I ask them what they want to do, to turn it on them. If they seem really excited about it, I’ll go forth with whatever they want to do. I personally don’t care about Valentine’s Day unless my partner does.

Growing up, I was warned by many folks that there are situations we put ourselves in that can get us raped.
