Editor's Note: Part One of Jennaration Craze with Jenna Haze appears on EdenCafe.com
DAVE GAMMON: Let’s talk about JennaHaze.com. For new consumers what can a first timer expect?
JENNA HAZE: Well, my website is actually pretty cool. I’m getting a whole new revamp too; a much more modern look in the next month. I haven’t forgotten. I had my website for years and years and years. I started it 2003-2004 and it was not that great. Over the years, I’ve learned a lot about web stuff. I’ve really learned a lot about what the fans want. Now my site is pretty amazing. I have weekly polls on where I ask my fans what they want to see to further my website and improve my movies. There’s also, two times a month, at least, sometimes three to four times a month, web shows which are free with the membership. There are also tons of video updates. Tons of photo updates, of course, and they also have auctions in my forum where you can buy personal things I’ve worn in my movies.
DG: That’s cool.
JH: Which is kind of a special thing; I just sold a pair of pantyhose that I wore in one of my solo scenes on my website.
DG: What would you say was your most comical moment on set?

]JH: Ah-gosh I’m kind of a goof ball. (combined laughs) So there are a lot of those! If you watch the VHS on any of my Jennaration X videos, you can see how fun my stuff is. While we’re still doing a business, I still like to have a really good time on my set. One of the ones that particularly stands out to me, would be when I went into production for Interactive Sex With Jenna Haze movie, like five years ago, and I was working with one of my favourite male talents. We were doing one of the parts-cowgirl-you have to lean really far back and it’s shot from the guy’s point of view. The guy has to be flat on his back and looking backwards. The camera is focused from his point of view, and I have to lean back really far so they can get a good shot of the hardcore (laughs….)
We were going at it, and his whole thing was he was supposed to pull out and cum all over my bush area and my stomach area. Well….you have to do it like six or seven minute loops. You can’t stop. If you have one mistake you have to start all over again.
DG: Oh no…..
JH: So that movie was really, really difficult to shoot. We were up, and he was getting ready to pull out and pop, and he starts cumming and it shoots back and his cock goes backwards and shoots himself all over his own face.
(Combined laughs)
He’s sitting there with cum all over his face and had to sit there and keep playing the role and not start laughing. They called cut. It was really, really so hard for me to keep a straight face (laughs). Afterwards everyone was hysterically laughing. The guy jumps up and yells, oh my God! (laughs)…. And I’m like you gave yourself a facial, that’s got to be a first.
DG: That’s a gif with purchase for sure.

]JH: Yeah! Hilarious!
DG: You have your own production company Jennaration X Studios. What kind of genres can fans anticipate? What trends or fetishes are now in demand?
JH: Well….porn in general is the hottest trend or fetish?
DG: Specifically with Jennaration X, what is the greatest in demand?
JH: Okay. Well my company primarily shoots wall to wall sex, gonzo, and a little bit of vignettes thrown in there. They’re considered wall to wall although more stylized; a little bit artsy. I like to say it’s like Andrew Blake meets Jules Jordan. It’s shot really beautifully, classy, like mainstream music video looking stuff-except it’s hardcore. It’s sexy. It’s filthy. It’s passionate. I feel like I’m kind of developing my own genre. I’d like to call it gonzo except more stylized (laughs).
It’s not really a feature, although it has dialogue. I don’t know what I would call it. But I’m pretty excited about the stuff I’m making. It’s pretty amazing.
DG: The parodies seem really popular now too.
JH: Yeah! Really popular! Some are really, really, really well done. Some are……really…:”ummm…why are you making a parody of this?” A porn parody of that? I mean, someone did a Golden Girls parody. I was like, what?
DG: I remember hearing about that….(laughs).
JH: I really don’t want to see those people having sex! Those are like my Grandmas (laughs). But there are ones that are extremely, extremely well done; like the “Not Bewitched XXX”.

]DG: Okay.
JH: I had to be Samantha Stevens that was really cool. The ones I did for Twilight where I play Bella Swan, the industry Twilight Parodies, and then there’s huge ones too. I did the Star Trek one. Every year it seems there’s more parodies. The parodies won really well this year. You know, it’s a trend like everything else. It’ll be replaced by something else in a couple of years. This is why I think I have to shoot one, jump on the band wagon. Not a whole lot but maybe just one.
DG: Just to try it out, why not?
JH: Sure, why not. It makes me a little nervous, though, because I just got really used to the way I like to shoot, and I got into my own director style now. You know?
DG: Umm hmm.
JH: And that would be a whole new learning experience. That’s why I started directing and started my own company as well. It felt like after performing for eight years I was kind of, ‘hmm, well I think I’ve kind of mastered performing.’ I felt like I needed to stretch my brain. You know what I mean? Something to push me and make me learn a little more. That’s why I’m directing. While directing a feature it’ll be a whole new learning experience.
DG: Oh ho-ho definitely.
JH: I’ve gotten the kind of stuff I shoot down now, but it’ll be fun though. I think I have a couple of ideas. We’ll see which one pans out the best.
DG: Good. Okay.
JH: Yeah!
DG: That poses a good segue into our next question, actually. As a director, what is simply not tolerated on your set? What are the biggest obstacles when shooting?
Once Bitten, Thrice Sly With Gabrielle Faust
Sweet Siesta with Ann Marie Rios
Your Best Kept Secret With Madison Montag]
JH: Ummmm not tolerated? I don’t allow anyone doing drugs or alcohol on my set.
DG: Okay. Good.
JH: Not whatsoever. I know on some porn sets that sort of stuff happens. On my porn set that does not happen. No way! I’m not-because it’s my company, and not only do I direct and do everything like that I also produce it all.
DG: Right.
JH: So it’s all my own money. There’s no way I’m going to get in trouble and use my money for some girl wasted on drugs. I’m pretty picky about who I shoot. I think a lot of talent sometimes gets nervous with me directing them.
DG: Okay-
JH: I think it’s hilarious personally. Because I’m like a hundred pounds; I’m a little girl. (combined laughs). Who’s a total goof ball. Sometimes the guys get a little nervous, the girls get a little nervous. They kind of have to act around me. Sometimes it’s a struggle to make people feel comfortable. I’m learning how to get the best out of a performer when I direct. I’m learning what the best methods are for each particular performer. Certain male talent and certain female talent, I kind of have to handle them differently. You know?
DG: Different approaches-sure. Makes sense.
JH: Yeah, different approaches, how to handle stuff. Like I said, it always is a learning experience every single day. And every single day, it’s like you go to work, and there’s going to be some problem. You have to be confident. You have to be strong. You have to tackle a problem and get the day going. You know what I mean?
