We're kinda glad we're not 57-year-old Sean McDonnell, right now. The man (and his dog) are being scrutinized in the apparently accidental death of a 43-year-old Irish mother of four. They've been under investigation since 2008. But not for the reason you might expect.
Who're we kidding? You read the headline. You knew what to expect. And if you needed a reason not to try bestiality, we are happy to have been of service.
The story goes that the couple first met in a bestiality chat room online. They talked about sex with animals for a while and then Mom, of her own free will, and quite randy to boot, made her way over to Mr. McDonnell's house to partake of the man's Alsatian dog. Or allow the dog to partake of her, as the case may be. Even the Gardaí (police, in the Republic of Ireland) concede that the only one the man ordered around was the dog.
This sordid and sad little tale might have gone untold had poor mom not had an allergic reaction to the dog's sperm and died of anaphylaxis.
The dog remains in custody while the Gardaí investigate the case, and McDonnell has been charged with "buggery," which is defined by Irish law as sodomy or bestiality. He faces a possible life sentence.
