While the topless porn-star bike romp through Auckland’s streets “got off” without a hitch, some hairs have been raised over the mobile billboard advertising the three-day “Feel Good” show. Calls are flooding in from adoring fans and bristled protestors over the hips of a nude woman, lovingly touching a melon’s juicy parts to obscure her most sensationalist bits.
“Certainly no one seems to be just indifferent to our billboard design this year,” says Expo organizer Michelle Ruebe, “which is great. It is designed to provoke thought and discussion and it is certainly achieving that.” Well, we certainly will never look at a melon the same way again.
Certainly not your average “Sexpo,” Erotica Lifestyles Expo 2010 seeks to create an 18-and-over boundless public exhibition promoting sex positivity. The event will feature an array of erotic lifestyle information and displays, stage shows, free product give-aways, and a chance to hob-knob with adored adult entertainment stars.
In other erotic news, imitation is the most sincere form of flattery, and that may be what True Blood star Anna Paquin thought when she purchased copies of the erotic spoof Tru: A XXX Parody, for her fellow cast members.
Paquin told George Lopez on Lopez Tonight that she and costar Stephen Moyer were so amused by their porn counterparts that they scored copies for everyone in the cast and crew as a wrap gift. “I think we probably bought every copy in existence,” Paquin exclaimed. So if anyone else wants to catch a glimpse of this erotic vampire satire, hurry up. It may soon become a collector’s item.
