Nexus and Aneros Settle Patent Issue and Aneros Sponsors a Sex Ed Tour

The word on the street is that Nexus and Aneros, two adult toy companies that sell primarily anal toys, have reached an agreement. Apparently they were embroiled in a battle over an Aneros toy patent, United States Patent No. 5,797,950, but have found some middle ground. If you can call a four-and-a-half-year ban on sales “middle ground.”

“We appreciate and thank you for your patience and understanding in this matter,” the two companies said to their fans, in a joint press release.

What's this mean for you stateside fellas? Well, as part of the agreement, Nexus has to stop selling Glide, Neo, Nero, Excel, Vibro, Titus, G-Rider, Ridge-Rider, Max 5 and Revo in the United States until 2016! That's one heck of a long time.

Never fear! The Nexus products already in stores are safe. They just can't distribute more in the U.S. for the next four and a half years.

While Aneros was busy fighting to protect its ideas, they're also helping sexologist Oh Megan with hers. They're gonna join her on her “Study Sex College Tour.” Megan Andelloux is leaving in mid-September for a year-long tour of colleges to educate students about sex. Aneros signed on to help her engage the men and raise awareness about healthy prostates. It seems like an interesting lecture to attend!
