I believe this is true. Usually our sexless ruts are due to ill health and can't be helped, but I notice the longer they last, the less I miss the sex. It's like the libido just goes away to keep from being disappointed. Of course once I feel better, we celebrate with sex, and that solves the problem!
Thank you for this article. Hubby and I recently went through a long dry spell after having a baby and I find now that I initiate it more I want it more! Sometimes it may take a "Fake it till you make it" attitude but before long you won't have to fake it any longer!!!
