We had our own home, didn’t have roommates, and didn’t have to worry about disturbing the neighbors so our sex typically was in the bedroom. After nearly nine years of marriage, this became our norm and frankly that wasn’t as exciting as it was when we were teenagers. I’m not saying being intimate with your partner in a normal setting is a bad thing, but sometimes it is nice to break away from the day to day pattern and find something or in our case somewhere to reawaken your intimacy to one another and bring it to a whole different level.
When we were teenagers we were always looking for a place to be alone because we lived with our parents and would never consider having sex under their roof. Being together intimately was an adventure with us and from one time to the next we never knew where we would end up. Fortunately, his family owned several acres of land where we could go to be alone with one another to do as we pleased. Right off hand, I know we went out for four wheeler rides in the woods and had sex on top of the four wheeler, we laid a blanket out in an open field, we always ended up in the middle of nowhere in his car and finding a secluded place to park, and on top of rocks over looking small bodies of water. Sex was always new and exciting and we never became boring because we were always coming up with new and creative places to become intimate with each other.
Now that we are older we are not as reckless as we once were. However, we still wanted to do some of the things that we did while we were teenagers. Fortunately, we have found that there is a park that is about thirty minutes away from us that has ninety-nine acres of hiking ground that makes the perfect location for us to reconnect with the great outdoors and each other. We can go on a hike and once again find a secluded area and become intimate with each other. Our first experience doing this was during the Fall where we hiked and made it to the top of this ledge and could hear the river running beneath us and lay on the rocks and it was very romantic. Not a soul was around and it was very peaceful; we were once again surrounded by the beauty of nature and let our senses take over.
Our next excursion was in the Spring, we followed a different route and instead of climbing straight up, we started up and climbed down and found an area that had humongous rocks for us to sit on. Spring is my favorite season anyway, but this felt wonderful because we could hear the birds singing to us and the flowers and trees were blooming all around us. Everywhere you looked, you could see nature’s new birth, which to me felt perfect because it was a perfect symbol to our relationship. We had become so familiar with one another, that taking these excursions with one another was a reawakening of our desire for each other. We were not stuck in a rut anymore and were becoming free again to love one another without boundaries or limitations.
What are you waiting for? Don’t you think it is about time to get out of your normal place of having sex and find somewhere off the beaten path to reconnect with your partner?
Always keep in mind that you don’t want to be charged with indecent exposure from the cops so make sure you are far enough away from others that this is not an issue. We’re lucky that we live in the country and finding secluded areas is not that difficult for us, but I know that is not the case for those who live in the city. If you live in the city and the next time you go out for a leisurely drive, look for potential areas that would give you and your partner the perfect place to reconnect with one another and discover or rediscover your connection to one another and nature. Don’t worry, you might like it and may find excuses to come to this place for many years to come. I know my park with the river running below me will always hold a special place in my heart and I wish we could afford time off together more often so we could appreciate our special spot more often.
