As if potential break-ups or pre-nups aren't difficult enough to talk about, imagine for a moment the FINAL final arrangements we might one day have to make for the one we love. Especially now that it’s possible to turn their remains into live ammunition.
Holy Smoke out of Stockton, Ala., now makes it possible to turn the ashes of your dearly departed one into “fully functioning bullets,” The Daily Mail reports.
The bereaved select a calibre and gauge of ammunition and send a pound of the beloved’s ashes to the company, which places some ash into each shell or cartridge (particulars at MyHolySmoke.com). You can get 250 rounds for shotguns or pistols and 100 rounds for rifles at a cost of $1,250. They note their service is environmentally friendly and that you can get a “mantle-worthy” wooden carrier with an engraved nameplate.
Outside of the deceased being an avid hunter (like Elmer Fudd?), here are some of the reasons we can think of that they might want to come back as a bullet:
* They liked zombie movies and you want to give them that dream of still being able to kill after they’re dead.
* You want to think of him as fully cocked.
* You often thought about shooting them and now you (kinda) can.
* They were a helluva bang.
