Your Mom's Vibrator
This vibe is a good way to either introduce yourself to toys or to introduce toys into your relationship. The size and texture are very user friendly.

Pros
Does the job, sleek look and feel, not intimidating
Cons
hard, can be uncomfortable
My mom's vibrator, actually, was made of this hard off white plastic with ribbing. This was a something I picked up along with my old Double End, just to throw it in the mix. The silver part is metal and six inches long. The sleeve is made of silicone and is intended to slide over the end of the vibrator to offer added pleasure. It takes 2 C batteries to run. Clean up of sleeve was easy; I used soap and water, except for the nubby parts, which needed a bit more detailing because of the little areas in between.
I used Astroglide lube, which helped with putting the sleeve on too, because it had a tight fit. There was a slight odor from the sleeve but not bad. Item is not waterproof.
The vibrator itself is conservative, great for a first timer. The intensity is pretty good; it has a wheel controller on the bottom where you insert the batteries. I didn't notice a range of power though, it was like "barely there" and "there you go."
The texture is smooth cold metal and it just slides right into the sleeve. The vibrator is hard and uncomfortable. I really didn't like the tip. It's not painful just uncomfortable. You can get off on it though, I found it worked best for either clit stimulation or inserted and to manually stimulate the clit. Otherwise it just kind of sits there. And the metal feel was similar to going to the doctor.
The sleeve seems almost useless to me. I used the Astroglide lube the first time and it went on easy but snugly. I did rip it the second time though. The nubby parts were not pleasurable either. They did feel promising going in my pussy but wasn't really hitting it for me. It's good but not great. It will never be my go-to vibe. But despite what I said, I do still have this and do on occasion still use it.
It's not a bad vibe and batteries seem to last a long time, even when they are dying I can still get off. I have noticed a noise coming from the battery compartment that sounds like a clicking almost, maybe something is loose?

Follow-up commentary

I have had this for a while, using it no more than as a back up. With the amount of new toys I have been getting lately, there is no need to really even keep this. It served its purpose well and I would still recommend it as a beginner or standby, but I like the softer ones available.
