The bullet itself is made of a plastic, but feels more like a thin "metal" to me. It can be a bit cold to the touch at first, so make sure to warm it up between your hands before use. Texture of this bullet is very smooth, but with a small seam running along the middle of the bullet. Usually, this isn't an issue for most, but for those of you that are extra sensitive or may not like this sort of thing, now you know!
