Yes, the second time around is BETTER!
Mia 2 is my perfect go ANYWHERE vibe now. It's just a clitoral vibe, so don't confuse it's greatness with that of a rabbit (like the perfect Lelo Insignia Soraya), but it's never let me down... and now goes in the water with you!!

Pros
Waterproof this time! Perfect shape & size to keep/use anywhere
Cons
None
Well, I already had the Mia 1, and any reasonable person would probably ask "why would you waste the money on the update, when it's basically the same thing?" And I would agree... unless you want your Mia to be free to work in the water!
I've cut back lately on the massive amount of toys we have (if you're interested, take a peak at mine and others' postings on Eden Classifieds for great picks that are nearly new, and in most cases never or barely used!) And what I wanted was a Mia that would be used ANYWHERE! The new Mia, with its redesigned cap, now meets that requirement even more by Incorporating a better gasket for a slightly tighter seal (to keep the water out of the electronics and the USB connector) along with a new twist (literally)... so when you put the cap on, you have to twist it to engage a sort of lock that will keep the cap from coming loose accidentally when there's water (lube, or anything else wet) nearby.
SO... what else is different? Well, not a whole lot. The buttons are the same, placed along the spine of the vibrator for easy access, and require both the "+" and "-" to be presses and held for several seconds to unlock or to power off the Mia 2, which prevents accidental powering on of the vibrator when it's in your bag, etc. (and yes, I keep mine with me at most times in my purse... given its discreet "lipstick" look and shape). The vibe is supposedly twice as powerful, but I honestly didn't feel much difference between the original and the Mia 2. Sure, it might be, but I couldn't sense any change. Absent in this iteration is the USB extension cable that came with the original... which isn't much of an issue, unless you have USB port that is sandwiched between other plugged in device, like a keyboard or something else essential, or your ports are recessed (as is the case on a lot of computer monitors, particularly those located on the back) making it difficult, inconvenient, or sometimes impossible to plug the Mia (either version) in to the USB port for charging (it only charges via USB, there is no AC adapter included). If you have a Kindle, iPad, etc. that includes an AC to USB charger, the Mia will fit and charge perfectly, nearly anywhere you have an AC outlet.

Follow-up commentary

I've been using my Mia2 while travelling lately, and it never disappoints. So compact, so easy to charge via USB (even when overseas), and so quick to clean up (and use) with water anywhere! Definitely my favorite little friend!

Thanks. I would upgrade for water proof to! For the price you would think it would come with a USB cable and adapter!
