Yellow Craze Curvy
If you are a beginner and don't require much to get you off and like buzzy-type vibrations with various settings of pulsations and escalations then this toy is for you. However, if you are a more advanced toy user, and prefer standard settings then don't waste your time because you would just end up irritated.

Use:
The Craze Curvy from California Exotics has a curved tip for g-spot exploration and can also be used to stimulate the clitoris or any other erogenous zone. I’m a beginner when it comes to using toys for g-spot exploration, but I can say the tip inserted easily and the 3 1/2” insertable length should be enough for those that have already located their g-spot. This is not my case so I cannot definitively say if it is a good match with my anatomy or not. I find this to best suited for those that are fairly new to using toys and like a variety of options.
Material/Texture:
The Craze Curvy is made out of hard plastic at the base and soft TPR at the tip and shaft for easy insertion. It is hypoallergenic, latex-free, and phthalates free. The tip is very flexible, but you can feel the motor underneath the TPR if you press around the tip. You are not able to feel it when using it internally or externally, but if you were just touching to you are able to feel the motor. I found when using the Craze Curvy, you will need some type of lubrication either natural or water-based for easier maneuvering.
Design/Size:
The one I chose is bright yellow with a hard plastic bottom with a silver ring around it and a soft tip and shaft. When I first opened it, my husband made the comment "What did you get a banana this time." It is a very bright yellow. The shape of the toy reminds me of a miniature bowling pin with a curve in it and it's relatively the same size of a seasoning container. It is quite small and fits in the palm of my hand and is a perfect size for travel and easily fits in my purse. The overall length is 6” long with an insertable length of 3 ½”. The tip starts out 3 ½” around and progressively gets larger to about 5 ½” girth.
Performance/Functions/Controls:
It has two push buttons that are easy to use. The on/off button is on the top and the function button is on the bottom. There are seven functions that vary in pattern, vibrations, and escalations: 1st: solid vibration with a medium speed 2nd: pulses fast 3rd: pulses fast then a slow steady with increase to go back to fast 4th: pulse on- off, on-off, on- off then pulses fast-fast at an increasing rate 5th: slow steady vibrations that progressively gets lower 6th: pulse-pulse-steady two times, but on the third cycle it pulse-pulse-then three fast pulses 7th: several fast pulses-steady vibrations When initially turning the Craze Curvy on, the tip and base light up like a lightning bug/firefly and during some of the pulse patterns the tip looks like a strobe light. The vibrations are buzzy-type vibrations, but does not cause my hand to be tingly when holding it or cause my intimate areas to itch. The vibrations are concentrated at the tip of the Craze Curvy and cannot be felt anywhere else. It is very noisy when using on your erogenous zones, but is not very loud when inserted. It requires 2 AAA batteries which were not included. The batteries are housed at the bottom of the toy under a screw on/off lid. The lids finicky to screw back on properly so you have to make sure it is properly aligned or it will not screw on correctly. This irritated my husband since he was the one inserting the batteries and screwing the lid on tight.
Care/Maintenance:
It is completely waterproof making cleanup a breeze. You can use soap and running water or your favorite toy cleaner. It is also compatible with water-based lubricant.
Packaging:
It came in a clear package with colorful confetti and streamers as a design. You can see the product through the package. The front shows the name, that it’s waterproof, and has seven functions. The back shows a diagram of the toy and points out the features. It did include a small instruction sheet that is written in six languages (English, German, Dutch, French, Italian, and Spanish) with battery insertion instructions, for use, and warnings.
Storage:
It is small so you can store it easily in your drawer or toy box. The only downside to it is that it does pick up lint easily, but since it is waterproof that’s easily taken care of.

Experience
My husband and I tried this several ways. We first used it as a stimulator to various erogenous zones. This works best on the first setting because the pulse patterns and escalations are just annoying for massaging efforts. Next, we used this internally for g-spot exploration. Although we're still new to g-spot toys, I found it easy to use and a helpful tool to get familiar with exploration. We even used this during sex by me holding it on my clit with him on top. I can say my Vibratex Mystic Wand is still my favorite toy to use like this. The Craze Curvy base hurt against my pubic bone when trying this out because my husband kept pushing the hard plastic into it. It was a shot, because I do like holding something on my clit when we're being intimate, but this is just not the toy for that.
My husband's favorite feature of the toys is that it lights up. We didn't turn on any lights and just used the light from the toy as our guide.
Overall, I think the variation of pulsation patterns and escalations took away from the toy. I guess I prefer to have a low, medium, and high setting of vibrations and maybe a few patterns, but this was too much. First, it didn't really have a low or high setting in my opinion. The vibrations all felt to be of medium quality with variations of pulsations and escalations thrown in there which I just didn't like.

Follow-up commentary

This is just too buzzy and weak for my taste. I like the unique color and the light up feature, but that is about the only good things I can say about it. It no longer gets used now that I have a larger toy collection.

Great review. I'm not sure how I would feel about the vibration patterns either. i prefer low - high and steady all the way mostly myself. Look like a neat toy though.

Loved your review! This is such a unique looking vibe. Lol. To me, it looks like a child's toy or something. I'd never guess it was a sex toy by just looking at it. Love that you included pics! That was cute how it was next to the bowling pin Very nice review!

Thank you both, my kids didn't know what it was. The oldest wondered why I had one of his bowling pins.

Great review, but if I could say anything useful would be to consider placing your toy next to more international-friendly controls - meaning that I do not know exactly what is the size of the items you placed next to your toy. Not a big things, since I can figure it out with the measurements.

Nice review. I dont know why they bother to make toys that have more bees than vrooms!

Good review! We actually voted this toy as one of the worst we'd tried for the year in 2011 for all the reasons you mentioned!
