XXL is right!
This vibrator is quiet, moderately powerful, flexible, and large. I found the twists at the top to be a little uncomfortable, but that's a matter of individual preference. I'll keep this toy around for external vulvar (is that the adjective? It looks weird) use, but for internal use it just didn't do it for me.

Pros
Quiet, flexible, nice mid-range vibration levels.
Cons
Too flexible for g-spot stimulation, twists are very pronounced (which might be a pro for some).
I was *very* excited to get my first toy for review from EdenFantasys. When the package arrived, I ripped it open with glee, and inside I found a somewhat scarily-large, Grimace-colored vibrator. When they say XXL, boy, they are not kidding. I took the Purple Twist out of the packaging with slight trepidation and inspected it: the top part (with the twisty bit) is pretty flexible. The motor is housed a little further than halfway down the shaft, so from that point down to the base the toy is much more rigid. While bendy, the rubber is not particularly soft (as in, there's not a lot of give when you squeeze it). The surface of the Purple Twist is smooth but not slick. The toy has a faint rubbery smell to it, but nothing that particularly bothered me; and I'm pathologically sensitive to smells (literally pathologically: I'm allergic to a lot of odors and fragrances)!
Despite the size, insertion wasn't a big deal (just make sure to use enough lube--I used Toyfluid). Once inside, I actually found that the twists made thrusting a little uncomfortable, so that strategy was quickly abandoned. Also, the rubber wasn't firm enough for adequate g-spot stimulation. Since the top half of the vibrator is so flexible, I kept the twisty part inside and bent the base up so that the bottom part of the shaft was resting on my clit. I rocked back and forth for a while, but it just didn't get me there. I also tried direct clit stimulation with the tip, but the vibration through the rubber was a little too diffuse.
The second time around with the Purple Twist|XXL European purple twist, I tried propping it up against a pillow and grinding against it. I'm a really big fan of all-over-the-vulva (see? I'm avoiding the adjective here) stimulation, and the Purple Twist produced some really great orgasms this way. In terms of vibration, the Purple Twist isn't anywhere near Hitachi-strength, but even on low the vibrations are stimulating and not overly weak. While not silent, the Purple Twist doesn't produce all that much noise on its highest setting: easily muffled under the covers. I turned the toy on high, closed the door to my room and tried to hear it from the outside. Nothing.
Another downside is that the twists made me paranoid that my NuvaRing was going to get hooked on and pulled out when I was finished using the vibrator internally. It didn't, but I'm choosing to continue being paranoid.
All in all, I have mixed feelings about this vibrator. The girth was nice, but the twists were a little too pronounced for me. While the Purple Twist didn't get me there internally, I'm pleased with the way it performed externally and I'm sure I'll keep using it that way.

Experience
I have cleaned this toy with Before and After toy cleaner and Afterglow wipes|Afterglow wipes review, and so far it's cleaned up fairly easily. The ridges on the twisty part of the vibrator require a little bit more attention to clean properly. It's waterproof, so you can submerge it in the bath or while cleaning it with soap and water.
Since the this toy is made of rubber, it cannot be sterilized, so use a condom if sharing. It is pthalates-free, though, which is always good.

Thank you for viewing XXL European purple twist – vibrator review page!
@Lover: I hear that. If they had been shallower/closer together, I don't think I would have objected as much.
@Liz2: Yeah, I had to do a lot of adapting. I think that if someone really liked girth and ridges, they might enjoy this toy. I can't decide if it was designed to be so flexible so you could bend it up for clit stimulation while it's inserted or if that was me adapting.
