The Xtreme Kit from California Exotic Novelties is a bullet kit that can be used in a variety of ways for sexual stimulation. It can be used externally on the nipples, labia, testicles, or anal opening (not inside though) or it can be inserted within a favorite toy - for example, a masturbation sleeve - for some added pleasure. This type of toy is most enjoyed for clitoral action, whether solo or during intercourse, but it's not waterproof. The picture might mislead some to think that both bullets can be powered on at the same time, but that is not the case, as there is only one jack on the unit.

With the exception of the wiring, the majority of this toy is made of plastic. Rather than being shiny and slick, the bullets are slightly transparent/cloudy and have smooth, matte, velvet coat finish to them, which the package refers to as "rubber cote". This material is pourous, but it's soft to the touch and creates a bit more friction against the skin. Overall, this is nothing fancy, but nevertheless functional. There is no odor to this toy once removing it from it's plastic clamshell packaging.

The main unit fits nicely in the palm of the hand for easy, single-touch, thumb control over all the buttons. It measures about 4.5 inches long, 1.75 inches wide, and is fairly lightweight. A single jack hole at the top of the until allows for only one bullet to be plugged in at a time. The larger bullet is a standard 2-inch, thicker bullet and the smaller one is a 1.75 inch mini bullet. I'll get to the difference in the two in the performance section. Both have a 30 inch cord.

This toy is available in a hot metallic pink with silver accents.

Even though the control panel elements are cheap, it's well designed, giving the user many options to choose from in terms of speed and modes. The lights and control buttons are in a circular formation, with the controls on the lower part and the light arching above it. The lights just give it some dazzle, but they don't really serve much purpose unless someone uses visual cues. There are red lights indicating speed (10 lights total, turning on in increments of 2 for each of the 5 speed levels) and green ones that flash during the mode sequences.

The best thing about this unit is that there are separate "+" and "-" buttons for speed and separate "<" and ">" buttons for the modes, which comes in handy in case the user wants to quickly return to the previous mode or jump ahead. That's a feature that I've seen lacking even on some more expensive toys, so it's a plus on this toy. You should hear/feel a "click" of the buttons as you scroll through the settings.

As far as what modes are available, I'm not going to break them down individually, but based on the 5 speed levels and 7 functions, this toy offers 35 different possibilities. That's really more than enough, if not a bit too extreme. Remember there are two bullets here that offer different types of intensities. The smaller one feels stronger, but it's more buzzy. Anyhow, there's a variety of steady vibrations, pulsing, tapping, tapping and then a long hold, etc... the usual stuff found on most vibes. Just tease yourself until you find the right one.

It makes an audible sound that isn't extremely loud and should be discreet enough to use under the blankets with the door shut.

The 2-AA batteries are very easy to insert through a slide-off panel located on the main control unit.

Remove the batteries to prolong the toys life. Do not submerse in water. To clean, unplug the bullet portion and use either an antibacterial toy spray, wipe, or carefully rinse off JUST THE BULLET with warm water and soap. The unit is discreet and can be easily stored.

This comes in a clear, but tasteful, clamshell plastic package that clearly displays the contents. Universal vibrator/multilingual directions are included.

I've always enjoyed using a bullet, but personally I don't need all the lights and pulsing modes. Not that they aren't enjoyable, I just find that if I spend too much time toying with them, it may take away from me achieving my goal or interrupt the mood. Overall it's a fun toy, not something that will last forever, but still enjoyable.
