Why oh why must it be Jelly
If the sleeves had been made of a safer material this would be a great vibrator kit. I would say it is better to save up and buy one made of silicone.

Pros
Good starter kit
Cons
Made of Jelly
The Lavender 6 Pack by Cal Exotics would make a great introductory vibrator kit for those who are just starting to explore the use of toys to enhance their sexual experience. I say "would" because of the material used for it, but more on that later.
The kit comes with two traditional vibrators and four vibrator sleeves to give you variety of sensations during use. The larger of the vibrators measures about 7 inches, 6 inches insertable. The smaller one is about 5 1/4 inches with an insertable length of 4 1/2 inches. The vibrators themselves are smooth and fairly simple to use with a base dial. The larger one uses 2 AA batteries, while the smaller one uses a single AA battery. They can be a little on the loud side, so they may not be great for those who share a living space.
The sleeves allow for a mix and match, giving the user a variety options of texture, sensation, and insertable length. They were a little difficult to slip onto the vibrator but the problem was solved with the addition of a little lubrication on the inside of the sleeves. The penis shaped one was nice and fairly realistic, although a little small. The larger one, which is completely smooth, was great for insertion; the one with two nubs worked well for clitoral stimulation, while the nubbed one worked great for both clitoral and G-spot stimulation.
One major issue I had here, which caused my rating to be so low on this kit, is that the material used for the sleeves is jelly. This material not only gives off a strong, and to some, nauseating odor, but it is also not the safest of materials. Since jelly is porous and can not be sterilized, this makes a horrible set for sharing among different partners and anal play, unless a condom or toy cover is also used with it. To be quite honest, regardless of usage, a condom/toy cover should always be used with jelly, due to the possibility of a chemical or allergic reaction from the material. Even then, I would be hesitant to use them. I would suggest anyone wishing to purchase this product or any other product made of jelly, do some research and really weigh the pros and cons before making a final decision.
Had they been made of 100% silicone, I would be fully recommending this kit until I was blue in the face. Even if it would have caused the cost of this kit to rise, silicone is completely worth it.

I still do not recommend this product and since writing this review, I actually tossed it in the garbage -- which is the only place this belongs.
