Who the Hell Child Locked my Vibrator?
This vibrator is made out of smooth, textured, pliable silicone. The vibrations can be adjusted to the user's preference with the easy to use dial. The vibrations are fairly strong and can be felt throughout the entire vibrator. Plus, the "Stranger II" has an interesting tentacle design.

Pros
Smooth silicone, Stimulating texture, Adjustable vibrations, Water resistant.
Cons
May not be firm enough for some, Battery compartment can be difficult to open.
I had never owned a Fun Factory vibrator before I received the "Stranger II" for review. However, I did own a Fun Factory dildo called the "Bandito" and I loved how soft and smooth the silicone was. After hearing such good things about Fun Factory vibes, reading numerous reviews and considering how much I enjoyed my "Bandito," I decided it was time to take a Fun Factory vibe for a ride and see what all the fuss was about.
My package arrived during finals week, which was an absolute godsend, because I was so sleep deprived and stressed that I needed something to put a smile on my face and get studying off my mind. The Fun Factory box was a simple beige and red package with pictures and information about the product and a plastic window showcasing the vibe inside. One pretty cool thing about the box was that the red panel on the opposite side of the window opened up into two flaps and revealed another plastic window that showed the other side of the vibrator. These flaps can be closed again and are kept closed with a small magnet on each flap. I'm pretty easily amused, and I'm a big fan of creative packaging so I thought this was a nice little touch to the traditional product box. Inside the box was a plastic insert with the vibrator in it, two little pamphlets and a sample of Toyfluid, Fun Factory's water based lubricant. The bigger of the two pamphlets was the "Stranger II" instructions which included a picture showing how to insert the batteries and information about the product. The other pamphlet showed pictures of the different products in the Fun Factory line.
After looking over the the instructions I hastily pulled the "Stranger II" out of the plastic insert. The vibrator was the same squishy silicone and light purple silicone as my "Bandito". I actually like the way Fun Factory's silicone smells, which is kind of weird. I can't really explain what the silicone smells like, but to me it has a slightly sweet scent to it. Maybe I'm just imagining it though?
The "Stranger II" is pretty flexible which makes insertion more comfortable. It has a length of 6 3/4" with an insertable length of 5 3/4" and a diameter of 1 3/8" at it's widest point. The "Stranger II" could be considered a little big by some users, so if you're a fan of slimmer insertables this may not be the vibe for you. The vibrator looks like a tentacle sans the little suction cups. The base is thicker than the rest of the vibrator and the top is slightly curved for g spot stimulation. The indented tentacle design on the front adds stimulation to the otherwise smooth design of the vibrator. The back of the vibrator has two indented lines that meet at a v which ends at the words Fun Factory. The battery compartment is located at the bottom of the "Stranger II." The battery compartment itself is black with a dial on it that controls the functions of the vibrator. On the dial is a dark grey design that looks like a paint splatter.
After poking and prodding my new vibrator for a few minutes I decided it was time to pop the battery compartment open and give the "Stranger II" a go. I had read in the instructions that the battery compartment was opened with something called the "Click & Clack" method, which basically means you press down on the gray area right above the battery compartment until you hear a click. After the click you continue to push while pulling on the end of the battery compartment and voila it slides open. It seemed easy enough. So, I did as the instructions told me, but it didn't click. I pulled at the battery compartment, squeezed as hard as I could, and even wriggled it from side to side with no progress. I began to get frustrated with the whole process and began grunting and making other distressed noises. My roommate decided to poke her head out of her room to see what I was doing and why I was making said noises. By this point my little fingers were sore from pushing so hard, but I wasn't willing to give up yet. She asked if I wanted help trying to open it and I said yes. So, she pulled and I pushed and yet again nothing happened. After a few more attempts we finally managed to get the battery compartment open.

Experience
Apparently a particular spot on the gray area needs to be pressed to make it click and open. I put two AA batteries into the battery compartment and reluctantly snapped it closed with the worry that I would never be able to open it again. There's a little arrow on the black cap that lines up with a line on the gray portion of the vibrator. When the cap is put back on correctly, the arrow and line will align.
The "Stranger II" is controlled by the dial on the battery compartment cap. The vibrator can be turned on by twisting the dial in either direction. The vibrational intensity begins at a low rumble and peaks at a strong constant vibration. If you continue to turn the dial after it gets to the strongest vibration, the vibrational intensity will begin to descend until it gets to the lowest setting. After the lowest setting is a "stop barrier" which is a little click where it becomes a little more difficult to turn the dial. This signifies that the vibrator has been turned off. The vibrations of the "Stranger II" are probably some of the strongest vibrations I have ever felt in a vibrator. The vibrations are deep and rumbley and can be felt equally throughout the vibrator. Even though the vibrations are strong, the vibrator is on the quieter side. At it's higher setting it can probably be heard through blankets, but not through a closed door.
The "Stranger II" is made out of silicone and therefore can be cleaned with hot water and soap, toy cleaner, or a mild bleach solution. Only use water based lubricants with this vibrator since anything else could potentially damage the material. Keep in mind that silicone likes to attract debris, so you may want to clean it both before and after use. The "Stranger II" is water resistant, so you don't have to worry about water getting inside of the battery compartment if it gets splashed. The vibe isn't completely waterproof though, so I wouldn't suggest submerging it in water. The "Stranger II" definitely looks like a vibrator, so make sure it's stored out of sight. The size of the vibrator makes it suitable for travel.
This vibrator has a lot of texture, however the intensity of the texture is muted by the silicone material that it's composed of. The dial allows the user to find that perfect vibrational level. That being said, I think that the "Stranger II" is suited for both beginners and more advanced users alike. I enjoyed my first experience with a Fun Factory vibrator and I'm happy to say that it lived up to the hype I had previously heard about Fun Factory vibes.
