The Triple Motor Jack Rabbit by California Exotics is a step in the right direction for many ladies who have already experienced penetration or some toy play. Barring you can handle the pokey rabbit ears and you don't clamp down too hard on the rotating head this vibrator may be perfect for you. The material and the fact that this is waterproof make it easy to clean and versatile in its use, I'm just not sure it's worth the price tag without being rechargeable.
The Triple Motor Jack Rabbit by California Exotics is designed to be a dual stimulating vibrator for the ladies in that it can be inserted and the "rabbit ears" should rest against the clitoris. How this lines up for you will depend entirely on your anatomy. Also, the rabbit ears are on the pointy side so if you enjoy really pinpointed stimulation on your clitoris this rabbit has it. If you prefer broad clitoral stimulation you may not enjoy the clitoral attachment on this rabbit. The end of the shaft and head are slightly curved for g-spot stimulation, especially while in rotation, but like most g-spot toys it won't work for everyone. To be honest this shouldn't be inserted anally unless you know for sure you can handle something that rotates but it's really not suggested to do so with this.
This rabbit is totally waterproof so bath and shower play is possible with it, just make sure it isn't submerged for prolonged periods of time or a little water will enter the battery compartment. Being waterproof also makes cleaning this toy that much easier so it's very low maintenance.
Based on the medium to large size and the fair amount of power this rabbit has it would be great for beginners who have already experienced penetration and intermediate users who don't require intense power to enjoy their toys. Size queens, those with clits of steel or those who generally need more power from their toys will probably be disappointed in this rabbit and find it quite lacking.
This rabbit is not really a great toy to use during sex mainly because of the rotating head, but it could definitely be used for foreplay to tease and arouse before the big act or by yourself for some solo exploration.
The entire rabbit is covered in soft, smooth silicone with the exception of the control pad and the battery compartment which are comprised of plastic. The silicone on this toy is quite plush or squishy, matte in appearance and does have a bit of drag so using some water based lubricant is needed to help this glide along smoothly. Conversely the silicone does tend to pick up every little hair and fuzzball so be sure to wash before and after every use.
Silicone has a safety rating of 10 out of 10 on the Eden safety scale for materials. It is food-grade material, hypo-allergenic, latex free, non-porous and phthalates free. This particular silicone toy was sent in the purple color and had no odors upon opening the packaging.
The Triple Motor Jack Rabbit is 9 1/2" in total length with 5" of that being insertable. The head starts at just under 1 1/2" in diameter and as you go down the shaft it widens out to 1 1/2" at the bulge that is located just before the clitoral attachment. The clitoral attachment is about 3 1/2" long with a pair of 1" long "rabbit ears". The control pad/handle base is about 2 1/2" long by 1 1/2" in diameter and this is where the buttons are located. There are four shiny silver and purple buttons and above them all is a blue LED light that comes on when you turn on the power.
Down below the control pad is the battery compartment which opens by grasping the plastic tab and twisting it slightly to the left. Once off there is a white plastic battery case that just slides out, into which you insert the batteries facing the directions the instructions on the plastic show you. Just slide the battery case back in and close the compartment by lining up the plastic tabs and then twisting it to the right.
The clitoral attachment is rabbit styled but there is not a face on it, just a vague "nose" shape and two "ears" on the end of it. On each side of the clitoral attachment base there are indented ovals in the silicone material but there doesn't seem to be a purpose behind them beyond looks. Speaking of which, there are curvy indented lines all over the shaft and handle and just like the ovals there doesn't seem to be a purpose behind them because they cannot be felt during use.
The controls for the Triple Motor Jack Rabbit are the four shiny silver and purple buttons that are located on the handle base. There is an up arrow, a down arrow, a power button and a pattern button. Press the power button once and the toy turns on and so does the LED indicator light. Press the up arrow to turn on the shaft vibrations and rotation. It starts on a low steady vibration with slow rotation but when you press the up arrow again it will go to a medium steady vibration and a little faster rotation and one more press of the up arrow brings you to high steady vibration and the fastest rotation. Pressing the down arrow will lessen the intensity of the shaft vibrations and rotation. A press of the pattern button turns the clitoral attachment on in a steady low vibration. Continue pressing the pattern button to cycle through the seven patterns.
The seven patterns are as follows:
1. Low steady vibration
2. Medium steady vibration
3. High steady vibration
4. Short pulses
5. Escalation, low-high
6. Long pulses
7. 3 short pulses, 1 long pulse
(8. This press of the button turns off the clitoral attachment motor, there's no way to cycle down through them.)
This toy is quite noisy in use and will be heard through blankets and possibly through a closed door so dorm use is up to your discretion. Also, when the shaft rotation is on the high setting there is a "squeaky door" type of noise that comes from the rotation movement which is pretty irritating during use.
The rotation of this toy cannot be controlled separately which is a huge bummer because it is not very strong to begin with. If/When you clamp down on the rotating head/shaft the portion that is inserted stops rotating and instead the handle starts to rotate, pretty much negating the fact that this rotates at all. Having a separate control for the rotation would make this toy more appealing.
Traveling with this toy would be simple, just be sure to remove the 3 AA batteries before packing away to avoid vibrating luggage. The buttons are easily pressed and the controls are not lockable for travel so taking out the batteries is the only way to ensure there won't be any embarrassing moments during your trip.
Cleaning the Triple Motor Jack Rabbit is quite easy, just wash with warm water and antibacterial soap or a toy cleaner before and after every use (to ensure there aren't lingering fuzzies or hairs sticking to it). You can also disinfect it by rubbing it down with isopropyl alcohol or a 10% bleach solution but be sure to rinse it thoroughly to avoid getting those chemicals in sensitive body areas.
To store the rabbit you could use the packaging it came in but it's not great for long term storage. Invest in some kind of lint-free storage bag for better long term storage of this toy. Some people use old (clean) socks or Ziploc bags without any problems.
Be sure to store this inside a bag or something before putting it near other toys just in case you have something that could possibly react with/melt onto the silicone during storage.
This toy came packaged in a big white cardboard box with a picture of the toy on the front and some key points about the toy's motors, power and patterns. The back of the box gives you a list of more information about the toy in several different languages and also tells you that it's waterproof and pure silicone along with the California Exotics logo.
The packaging is not discreet at all and should be wrapped if gifting this to someone else. When empty all the components of the package should be recycled wherever possible. On another note this packaging makes fine short term storage but for long term storage you will want to invest or make something else that won't take up quite as much space in your toy box.
Once I was assigned this toy I was pretty excited to give it a try and couldn't wait for it to arrive. As soon as it arrived I had to pop in some batteries and check it out. Once on I was a little disappointed in that the rotation couldn't be controlled separately. I wasn't sure I was going to enjoy the rotating head and not being able to turn it off without turning the vibrations in the shaft off was a let down. Next I checked out the clitoral attachment control and found it to be more interesting but it has its downsides as well. Not being able to turn if off when you need to, instead of cycling all the way through the patterns, is a big negative point. Other than that the patterns were enjoyable if a little on the weak side power wise.
Overall I'm not too impressed with this toy but I know of others who enjoy theirs as is. I'm taking a star off for the lack of separate rotation/vibration control and the clit attachment cycling through to turn off issue. I'm also docking a star for the pokey rabbit ears because there was no way to enjoy those and for the lack of power in the rotating head.
Follow-up commentaryI still don't like it1 month after original review
Special Note: DO NOT drop the battery pack on the floor, it shatters into little bits and becomes unusable! Obviously since that happened with mine I cannot use it anymore, not that I really enjoyed it to begin with, but this means there won't be much to update about it.

excellent review! sorry you didn't like it. pokey rabbit ears are definitely not fun! I love rabbit ears but I'm no stranger to the ones that are just too stiff. Thanks!
