The contoured egg is best when used on your clit. It is palm sized, so it is perfect for that use, or even nipples, but not big enough for actual penetration like a traditional vibe. I tried it and I felt absolutely nothing, so I just stuck with using it to warm me up for later play. I think this would be perfect for anyone who wants something on the small side, discreet to use, just for foreplay, or maybe while playing in the tub, shower, etc. Since there are a variety of functions, you can spend some fun time experimenting with whatever works best for you. It is very flexible and that is a feature I absolutely love! I literally had the little "finger" wrapped around my clit and, I have to say, it felt wonderful! It is called an egg but it looks more like an elongated finger that can bend and conform to however feels best to you. I just held it in place and cycled through every function just to see what would happen and it warmed me up very nicely! For something in such a small package, it surprised me! It wasn't enough to completely get me off, but I got creative and it worked like a charm!

It is made from 100% silicone, so it is smooth and not porous. It is also hypoallergenic, latex free, and phthalate free so it is a good option for most users. There are no textured designs on the egg or controller making it just a standard smooth material. There is no smell that I could tell associated with the material, which is always a plus with me. I don't really have a preference of smooth over textured toys, but the smoothness of this one did make it feel better than usual for some reason; it might just be my body sensitivity!

I really like the design just because it is unique and adds something neat to my collection. The shape worked for me because it is so flexible and I could actually wrap the "finger" around my clit and the egg itself was palm sized so I didn't get hand fatigue while using it. The size is just about right for this kind of toy in that it fits right in your hand. It is not so small that it feels like you aren't using anything, but it is not so big that it actually gets in the way. I think all users would appreciate both the size and unique shape. I am not sure I would call it discreet because I don't think it is purse sized, but you could easily pack it in a suitcase and not really notice it.

I was not really impressed or dazzled by the functions. It has 12 different ones to choose from including: 3 different levels of standard vibration; roller coaster; pulsating; rapid then slow; 2 different escalating functions; and 2 different surging functions. Basically the same ones that most vibes/toys have. It is not really noisy at all and it is waterproof, which is always nice, but I have yet to test it out that way. The vibrations are located in the egg part of the vibe and reverberate into the little finger-like extension. It is controlled by a wired hand held controller that runs on 3 AAA batteries. You turn the unit on by pushing the small, and I mean small, on/off button on the top of the controller that also has a button that shows which numbered function you are on at that moment. The controller fits in my hand really well, but the on/off button was really small and I kept accidentally hitting it and either turning it off, or changing vibrations and it just irritated me after a while. It also lights up, so you can see the buttons on the dark and not have to keep fumbling around! Honestly, I thought the vibrations themselves were kind of weak even for AAA sized batteries. It got me warmed up, but it just was not strong enough to get the job done. Even on the highest setting, it still didn't rock my world and felt more buzzy than anything else.

Since it is so small, it is easy to store. It arrived in a little, clear, plastic bag that was inside a bigger, white, padded envelope, so I just store it in those to keep it clean until I can find something better. It is easy to care for in that it doesn't attract lint, so cleaning is pretty easy. Just use some antibacterial soap and warm water, then make sure it is dried really well before storing. It is only compatible with water-based lubes, so you need to pay attention to what you use it with.
