Where's the passion in your kiss?
In short, I can't recommend the Butterfly Kiss. I am a bit baffled at its popularity, but hey, maybe it really gets some women going while others need to look elsewhere to get their sex toy kicks. If you want to take a chance on it and see if it is for you, at least it's inexpensive. It's up to you if you want to take the gamble or not.

Pros
Um...it's pretty? Some swear by it, so maybe it all depends on your anatomy.
Cons
It needs more girth, more length, and stronger vibrations!
The Butterfly Kiss was my first attempt at discovering my G-spot with a toy, and oh, how disappointed I was. After reading a lot of reviews, I realized that it seemed to be hit and miss with people, but overall, it's a popular product, so I thought, why not? Well, to be honest, I'm not sure why it seems to be such a hit with the ladies. It falls flat in just about everything it claims to be able to do.
For starters, it's far too small in size to do much for anyone. The tulip shaped head feels nice going in, but it's too slim and too short to do much after that. For G-spot stimulation, it's too soft, the vibrations even on the highest of its three settings were too light, and the butterfly doesn't vibrate enough to do anything for clitoral stimulation. At first, I thought perhaps it was the batteries that made the vibrations so lackluster (I had found them in a drawer, and could not remember for the life of me if they had been previously used or not). But after replacing the batteries, the vibrations were still too mellow to do anything but frustrate me! Thankfully, I had bought it with a mini-bullet, so I had something to take my sexual frustration out on. I had counted on at least enjoying the butterfly for clitoral stimulation, even if it did nothing for my G-spot, but even then, it wasn't enough to get me going even a little.
As for the appearance - I thought it was cute at first, what with its pearly pink color, heart designs around the base, and cute little clit-hugging butterfly. But the design is so unsatisfying and impractical, that I just started to resent it. It's not discreet at all. It's pretty, but that's about all it has going for it.

Follow-up commentary
2 months after original review
Since this review, I have removed the TPR material from the Butterfly Kiss, and have turned it into a decent little bullet. It's not the prettiest thing in the world since the battery compartment is revealed through the clear plastic, but at least it does more than take up space and collect lint now. I still can't say I like it though, because I had to destroy it to make it worth using. I somehow don't think that that's what the manufacturers had in mind when they made this toy. I still can't recommend it.
