The Hollow Point is a small, short little guy that should be used for external stimulation primarily. While the Hollow Points is by all rights primarily a clitoral vibrator, it's best use I have personally found to be just about everything else. It's great for stimulation of the testicles, breasts, thighs and labia, even the perineum. The small bulge at the end makes shallow vaginal penetration possible and actually very pleasurable. I had the best luck inserting this ever so slightly between my inner labia and then massaging my clit with my free hand. It's too small for G-spotting and should not be used anally as it has no base. If inserted anally one runs the risk of losing the vibrator which can be very dangerous. However, a little external anal stimulation feels VERY good with this one.

Because the Hollow Point is small, it's very easy to use either alone or with a partner. Literally slip it into your pocket to add oomph to a date, or use alone to help you unwind after work. It was a big too chubby to fit into my cock ring, but it is compatible with many other toys. It's a great compliment to penetration and also a good way to tease a partner to warm up. This toy is made out of hard plastic, which is standard bullet fare. What's different is that the Hollow Point is a bit silkier than most other bullets, with a sensation similar to velvet cote. Hard plastic is phthalates-free and body safe, which is good news! It is a semi-porous toy meaning that it is not very absorbent but it is still capable of trapping bacteria. Hard plastic generally has a faint smell, and this guy is no exception. The smell is, however, very dull and can only be detected when placed under the nose. There is also no strange taste, so if you can stand the intensity of the vibrations you could theoretically place this under or alongside your tongue to liven up cunnilingus. This material can absorb smells, so make sure you store it in a clean and dry place, and that you clean it after use.

The design of this vibrator isn't exactly ground-breaking, and in fact has one feature that particularly annoys me, although it does have one redeeming quality. To start with the good: below the speed control button are a series of 4 ridges, which is something that distinguishes this bullet from lesser models. Short bullets are typically harder to grip and maneuver, but this little one stays firmly in my grasp thanks to the ribs, which I think were a fantastic designing insight. However, the tip of the bullet essentially ruins (for me, at least) any points racked up by that feature. The tip takes the shape of a fat, rounded tear drop, which is pretty to look at but incredibly impractical. Unless you are going to intense pinpoint stimulation, you are out of luck with this toy. The teardrop shape makes it difficult to turn the vibe on its side to provide less concentrated vibration, and so I found my clitoris numbed VERY quickly.

There is a slight seam, but it all but takes a magnifying glass to locate and it certainly can't be felt in use. In fact, this toy should be commended for being an overall sturdy, smooth and well-crafted toy. And at about 2.25 inches long and 1.75" at its widest point, it's also a small and discreet toys. In many ways EVOLved has made a great bullet here with the Hollow Point, at least in terms of design, but the teardrop thing makes it all for nothing it seems.

With five speeds, the Speeding Bullets Hollow Point offers less variety than I would have liked. First, in the order that the appear at the click of the button:

The first two speeds are virtually indistinguishable from one another, essentially the same high speed strong, deep buzz. While the vibration is refreshingly penetrating and the small vibrator packs a lot of punch, I quickly lost sense of where my clitoris even was due to how numbing the sensation was. I also find it a little irritating the the vibrator starts on the highest, hardest speeds and descends to the weaker ones. It makes gradually building to an orgasm rather inconvenient! It's also fairly annoying that if you need to turn the vibrator off quickly for any reason (phone rings, someone knocks at the door) you have to cycle through all five settings in order to turn it off, however you can circumvent this by just twisting the cap off. The three remaining settings are a series of pulsing speeds described above, which don't really vary much in severity, only in timing. Ultimately I found the settings to be five speeds of the same thing, and as it happens, that thing was WAY too strong for me. It was also difficult for me to hold on to because the vibrations sent through my hand were over-stimulating and uncomfortable.

The Hollow Point is also fairly quiet considering its intensity, but depending on the amount of pressure you apply when using it the vibe may start to produce a loud, twangy buzz. It can also be used in the shower, but I wouldn't suggest submerging it if you want to preserve the life of your toy.

As the Speeding Bullets Hollow Point vibrator is made of waterproof hard plastic, clean-up for it is pretty simple. Hard plastic has a very low porosity, meaning it's a very safe material but it still cannot be sterilized, which is something to keep in mind when sharing. For your average clean-up a toy wipe or a baby wipe will do the trick, but you can also clean with anti-bacterial soap and a warm, wet wash cloth or even warm running water. While the outside of the toy is waterproof the motor and battery compartment are not, so make sure your (empty) battery compartment is sealed off completely before rinsing under running water. That means screw the cap on tight, ya hear! :)

Hard plastic is compatible with all lubricants including oil, water and silicone based, so no need for spot testing. It also will not react negatively if stored near toys made of other materials such as silicone, jelly, etc. This means your Speeding Bullet can co-exist peacefully beside your jelly cock rings or your silicone packers or anything else without the quality of the toy being compromised. You may wish to keep your vibrator in a plastic bag just to prevent it from becoming dirty while in storage, and remember: to prolong the life of your batteries as well as the toy itself, store the vibrator without batteries in it!

This toy is very discreet in and of itself, and its packaging is no different. Nestled in a tiny, hard plastic display case (which reminded me of a cradle for a vibrator....a "vibradle"?) which was then encased in a tiny, transparent plastic box, the whole shebang fit easily into my palm. As the hard plastic cradle-case has no top you probably won't want to keep it for storing, although it definitely does have storage potential for crafty folks. Whatever you do, DO NOT throw anything away before finding your complimentary extra set of batteries! I almost made that mistake, but found three little watch batteries taped underneath the cradle just in the nick of time.

Also, extra points for managing to make the toy look sexy WITHOUT gratuitous use of heavily made-up women with slack-jawed expressions of "pleasure". I can't even begin to explain how quickly a toy can make a bad impression by plastering their packaging with models (male or female, for that matter) that turn me on about as much as watching paint dry does.
