Inky may not tickle my cervix, but it is useful for nipple and clit play. The inked up design of this vibrator is also very visually appealing. Finally, the screw on cap makes storage a piece of cake.

Pros
Vibrations are right for nipple and clit play. 3 speeds. Ink design. Color choices.
Cons
Something about the material and design gives this item a permanent glare. Isn't long enough for s
The only kink of the Inky Kinky vibrator is that it is "inked" up. Otherwise, this toy functions on a very basic level...vibrating anything that you have the mind to place it on. Inky Kinky might be part of a collection of visually appealing toys, or it might be put more into the teaser category. It certainly can't be inserted very far, and it's straight up and down design as well as lack of flexibility, rule it out as a g-spot toy. No flared base means that it isn't an anal toy either. Then again, at least it has 3 speeds in order to keep your clitoris or nips tickled.
In terms of who would use this toy, I am more of an advanced user, and I really like the kind of vibrations that Kinky offers for my clitoris and nipples. A beginner might appreciate it as an insertable toy because of its non-intimidating size. I think a variety of users will appreciate Inky for a variety of reasons.
Inky Kinky is made of acrylic and plastic. Acrylic is glossy, which is probably why Inky always seems to have a glare. Even in a dark room, it looks like it has a glare! Acrylic is a 9 on the safety scale, it's non-porous, and it's nearly indestructible except for that it can be scratched. Plastic is an 8 on the safety scale, and it is also non-porous. The entire product is smooth. There is no velvet-like coating, as many of the plastic items are starting to have. Hypoallergenic, latex free, phthalates free, and made of food-grade material. This also has no smell or taste.

My absolute favorite thing about this design is that there is a plastic cap that screws on over Inky. If my silicone toys could have this, I wouldn't have to keep them in bulky packaging or in their Ziploc bags. There are three colors for Inky: black, purple, and blue. The design is a floral somewhat tattoo-ish design. The black has a purplish ink, the purple has a pink ink, and the blue looks to have a purplish ink based on the product page. I saw that another user had asked about the push-button control, and so I will explain it. It has a 3 on it for the 3 different speeds. It is easy to accidentally push it. Yes, you do have to cycle through all of the functions in order for it to turn off. Finally, the Inky is waterproof and has an O-ring.
As noted, there is one push button. That is the only control for this item. It's easily located, and for that reason, this vibrator is easily figured out. The controls could be improved upon if there was a way to turn off Inky without pressing the button and going through all 3 speeds prior to turning it off. The vibrator does not have different patterns, but the vibrations do travel well throughout Inky. When tested in the shower, Inky did seem to be waterproof. However, I did not submerge the toy. I don't use my toys in the bathtub, and I don't soak them in order to clean them. Still, I did notice the O-ring for the Inky, and this seems to be a well-made item. As far as noise goes, this isn't silent, but I don't believe it can be heard through a door either.
This item can't be sterilized, but it can be cleaned with antibacterial soap and water. It can also be cleaned easily with a wipe. Since it is waterproof, you don't have to worry about sticking it directly under the faucet. This item has a plastic cap that screws on, so the vibrator is protected and easily stored. Take the 1 AA battery out of it if you will not be using it for long periods of time. Silicone and water-based lubricants can be used. Oil lubricant is not on the approved list for acrylic material.
The packaging is somewhat over the top. First, there is a box. Then, inside of that box, there is a plastic mold in which to lay the toy. This keeps it from jiggling around in the box. Then, there is a plastic cap that screws on to cover the toy. None of this is minimal or discreet. The vibrator can be seen through the packaging. There is an instruction and warranty manual.
Not discreet
Very informative
Follow-up commentaryI don't like it anymore1 day after original review
I don't know about anyone else, but sometimes when there is a sale, I buy multiple items. Then, when those items come, my reviewing gets backed up. Before I know it, my return window has closed, and I've actually yet to open the item. This was the case with Inky. After the first use, I wrote a review for Inky because I was just so pleased! Unfortunately, after the second time using Inky (the day after my review), something REALLY bad happened! A piece fell off of Inky, and of course, I didn't realize it because I was playing in the dark. The next day (today), I noticed, and you can imagine the slight heart attack I had. Where was the missing piece? I had inserted Inky for just a little teaser, and I was terrified that it was stuck up in my lady bits somewhere. Luckily, I found the piece in my bed.
Two things were learned...
1. No matter how pleased I am with an item, I should never write a review after only one use.
2. DO NOT PURCHASE this item. This isn't safe, and there actually needs to be a recall.

OTOH, you may have just gotten a defective unit. Too bad you missed the return window.
