The Wow Wand didn't wow me on my first experience, but I've warmed up to it a lot as we became acquainted, and I've found myself reaching for it increasingly often. I love the new trend of wand vibes with dual-function shafts. This one is a great design; a wide, intense head for clit and labia stimulation, with a tapered and slightly ridged shaft that delivers its own intense vibrations for either G-spot or targeted clitoral pleasure. It's perfect for me since I prefer smaller but high-powered clit vibes, and those are few and far between in the current toy market. The curve in the shaft makes it easier than ever to rub your G-spot with pin-point precision, while the ergonomic design also makes it easier to hold when pressing the head against your clit. While not designed for deep penetration, I found that the shaft more than did the job for G-spot stim thanks to the powerful motor and delicious angle.
Shaft and head are controlled easily and separately, with one button for each motor that serves to activate the vibrators as well as switch intensities and modes.
Speaking of intensities and modes, this vibe does get intense! It's not quite as numbingly powerful as, say, the Lyra - the most powerful wand I own - but that's not necessarily a bad thing in my view. This one will be a good choice for those who enjoy moderate-to-intense vibrations, and is thus suitable for most toy users. The lower intensities are good for slow-building orgasms and foreplay, while the high settings will have your sensitive spots pulsing with pleasure. Each end boasts several wow-worthy vibration patterns. I usually prefer to stick to the standard vibration, but with the Wow Wand I've stepped outside my usual modus operandi and thoroughly enjoyed it. The vibrations are a nice, mid-range rumble, neither super deep nor mosquito-shrill.
For this power level, the wand is quite quiet. At the highest intensity I could only hear a very faint hum through a closed door, and only when I was standing with my ear practically pressed to said door. A step or two away and I heard nothing. It's a perfect choice if you share a living space or a bedroom wall with others who may not appreciate the Wow Wand quite as much as you do.
The wand is advertised as waterproof, but when I used it in the bath I did notice some air bubbles popping up from the silver metal band joining shaft and head. It may not be a problem, but I'll be careful with submerging this one. Shower sex should be no problem, though, and cleaning is quick and easy thanks to the smooth silicone that Wow Wand is made of: a little soap, a little water, and you're done.
