Voila! It's the Vuali!
The Vuali didn't live up to what I thought it would do, but that doesn't mean that I don't love it. The silicone is wonderful and the vibrations are out of this world, powerful and are deep and rumbly. I had hoped that the fluted ridges would give a better sensation when twirled but for me proved to be just a little too much girth for that.

Pros
Antimicrobial silicone, powerful and fun vibrations, ease of cleaning, excellent craftsmanship.
Cons
Fluted ridges were nice but not as magical as I thought they'd be.
The SinFive Vuali is an item that I have had my eye on since it was released. I finally decided to take the plunge and try it out. I eagerly awaited its arrival to my home, and couldn't wait to give it a go after it arrived. Thing is, I think this is one of those times that I hyped myself up too much for what the product actually offers. That's not to say that I don't like the Vuali, because I do. It's just I had such high hopes for its fluted ridges and imagined that they would feel absolutely amazing when twirled. In reality that kind of irritated me and was the part of the product I liked least.
Let's start with the good stuff though. The Vuali is made from antimicrobial silicone, which is a remarkable innovation. SinFive achieves this by using an additive which prevents the growth of bacteria and other microorganisms. There is a little pamphlet included with the toy that discusses this in detail, but for the cliff notes version: It helps keep your toy free of bacteria, you should still make sure to clean your toy well with soap and water, and the additive is not harmful to you and will not disturb the sensitive balance of your vaginal flora. SinFive obviously knows what they're doing when it comes to making safe and beautiful products and they even stand behind their vibrator with a 5 year guarantee. That's just plain awesome!
The silicone has the slightest amount of drag, you'll want to use water based lubrication with this one, I actually found the more the better with the Vuali, (although that is probably because I was trying to achieve a nice twirling motion so I needed to have less drag.) SinFive's silicone is squishy in some areas while firmer in others depending on the thickness of it in that area of the shaft. The head is very firm if you press from the top, but squishy from the sides. I actually wish it was squishier from the top as at certain angles it was actually pretty pointy!
The Vuali is straight, though it is flexible so it allows for some pinpointing if you angle it. The design is beautiful with the fluted ridges near the top of the shaft. The base of the shaft is smooth and straight, there's no flared base so don't try to use this anally. I have the red Vuali, which is a very bright red; I'd say it's close to fire engine red. While this is not a discreet vibe, it is certainly an elegant vibe. So, if someone comes across it they'll know what you use it for, but they'll still think you're pretty damn classy!
The Vuali is powered by 2 AA batteries, which come included. The batteries each have their own little slot and it is clearly labeled which direction they go in. The Vuali has a really sturdy battery cap; it screws on beautifully and leaves no doubt that this vibe is 100% waterproof. The buttons are also just a and - in the silicone shaft, so there is no worry of moisture seeping through. I was able to clearly feel these buttons during use too and could easily change the settings.
Speaking of the settings, this baby has some serious power. When I first get my toys I always first try out the vibrations in my hand. My eyes widened at some of the power behind these vibration settings. Each time I thought it must be at the max I'd press the again and it would get stronger. The patterns are also amazing! To save room up here, I'll discuss them in more detail below in the "experience" section.
When it came time to clean my Vuali I found yet another feature that I love! The Vuali stands beautfully on end. It might seem silly but this is actually something I look for in my toys. I don't like to dry them off with towels, I like to wash my toys and leave them out to air dry. I can do this really easily with the Vuali since it stands so sturdily and I know it won't fall over and get dirty again. Once the Vuali is dry I store it in the white cardboard box that it came in. I don't use the outer sleeve, since that's just more work to get through when I want to use the Vuali. The cardboard is decent thickness though I have a feeling the Vuali will far outlive the packaging.

Experience
Ok, so it sounds like this is a great vibe right? Well, it is! So, what was that about my expectations being too high? Well, I really was in love with the idea of being able to twirl the ridges and feel amazing internal sensations. Turns out that just kind of hurt. I think it's because it's a bit too girthy for that. My vaginal muscles like to grab hold of things if they're at a certain girth or beyond, and the Vuali definitely fell in that range. I tried with it in deep and with just the fluted part inserted and it was just too big for me to be able to do the twirling sensation without just being uncomfortable from it. The ridges felt nice with a slow thrust, it just wasn't quite as magical as I had imagined it'd be.
I am in love with the pulsations and patterns on the Vuali. Sometimes when you have a pulsation, the low side of the pulse is so low that it's hard to actually get to climax. With the Vuali that is not a problem. I was able to achieve a wonderful orgasm using the "random" pattern which is a mix of escalations and pulsations. The other two patterns (two different speeds of pulsation) were also really nice, I think the patterns are my favorite settings by far with the Vuali. My only issue with the vibrations is that they are a bit loud. I had expected them to be quieter than they are, but especially on the high settings I think they might be able to be heard through a closed door, but that depends on how quiet it is outside the door and how far away from the door you're using it. Just know that it's a possibility you could be heard.
So, in the end I'm happy with my Vuali. I'm glad that I got it, but it just wasn't AS wonderful as it was in my mind. I think if I had it to do all over again I might get the Nagi instead, since I didn't quite care for the ridges and the Nagi is nice and smooth.

Not that I ever really disliked the Vuali, I was just a bit disappointed in it at first because I had such high hopes for it. Sometimes the hype for a product can make you start to think that it'll be better than it actually is, or can be. The Vuali is definitely a very well made vibrator though, and the vibrations are very nice and the material is wonderful. It's a great size and it's very durable and versatile too. If someone was looking for an overall great vibrator that's waterproof and is built to last the Vuali is an excellent choice, and for the quality it has a very nice price as well.
I also really appreciate the little things about the Vuali. I still really appreciate that flat bottom, it makes cleaning so much easier and I love being able to just set it on its base in the bathroom, it's amazing how happy that makes me each time, even though it doesn't seem like that big of a deal. I also love the well marked battery slot, those little things make the ease of use with the Vuali just outstanding. There was a lot of thought put into this product, and that definitely shows.

Great review. I also like to air dry toys by standing them on-end; glad to hear this one "stands up". We love powerful vibrations...this one seems to deliver. Wish list!
