Violet, You Make Me Dislike Rabbit Vibrators.
Violet made by the Vibratex was very disappointing. For $100, you would think that this rabbit styled vibrator would be waterproof and have way more power then it does. I really wanted to love Violet, but it turned out that we just weren't a match made in heaven. She is mainly for people who don't need vibrations on their g-spot to achieve an explosion of pleasure and for people who enjoy light vibrations to climax. Unfortunately, I am not one of those people.

What is Violet all about?
The Violet rabbit styled vibrator is made by the Vibratex company. I don't know much about their company, but I am not impressed. For $100, I expected a lot more. I wanted it to be the rabbit styled vibrator of my dreams. Mind you, I have never been a rabbit styled vibrator fan. It just never appealed to me. I didn't completely hate this product, but I didn't completely enjoy this product either. It has many cons and few pros. Honestly, it is a great beginner vibrator with someone that has money to spare. It does have the uniqueness that the rabbit attachment is a butterfly that looks like a stingray in a beautiful cobalt blue color. It has little nubs that massage you as you are masturbating or with a partner. It does bring pleasure and I have received an orgasm from this toy, just not a very explosive one. It is mainly for people who like light vibrations and light masturbation sessions. It took me quite a while to achieve an orgasm with this vibrator and I wish it wasn't so. I wish that I would love it, but unfortunately, I do not. She is also not waterproof. The settings are hard to find and the vibrations cannot be easily identifiable. It does have duel motors, but it doesn't seem to help any situation.
Why did you choose such an expensive rabbit vibrator?
Honestly and truly, I purchased this vibrator because it was in a beautiful color of blue. I purchased this vibrator because I wanted it to change my mind on rabbit styled vibrators. Like some of you, I think that an expensive vibrator means that it is kickass and I am going to love it. In this case, I like my simpler bullets better than this. I am highly disappointed, but I am only one opinion. You can be totally different in yours and completely love Violet. It does have a very nice shape and very nice textures. It is quite large compared to the product page picture and you will be surprised when you open it. I liked the size. I liked the texture. I didn't like the vibrator as a whole.
What is this vibrator made out of? Also, what are the measurements?
Violet is made out of silicone and plastic. It is powered by four triple A batteries, which is also a downfall. It completely drains the batteries extremely fast. I have used this multiple times now, just to see if I can learn to like it, and it has died on me, TWICE. I do like that this vibrator is made out of silicone. I like an easy clean up.
Silicone is a semi-organic polymer, man-made material known for wide-ranging stability and water repellence. Silicone has a tight molecular structure and retains heat. Try to soak silicone toy (make sure it's waterproof) in the warm water before using it to get nice warm feeling. Silicone also repels dirt and bacteria and doesn't fall apart with extended friction.
It is also made of Plastic at the bottom of the vibrator. Plastic is a synthetic or semi synthetic polymerization product. It is non-porous and phthalate-free material with a firm, smooth textures.
I really enjoyed the measurements of this product. It is one of the main reasons why I bought such an expensive toy.
In length, it is 8 3/4". You can only insert about 4" of the entire vibrator. The clitoral shaft is about 2 and 1/2" length.
How do I clean this product?
Silicone is very easily cleaned. It is not time consuming at all. You can simply wipe it down with an antibacterial wipe and be done with it. You can also get a warm wash rag with some mild soap and sanitize it that way. I wouldn't recommend boiling this product since half of it is made out of plastic and there is a battery compartment. For the plastic cleaning, just wipe it down with an antibacterial wipe and you'll be just fine. The cleaning is a breeze. Always make sure that you completely dry your toys, it is just something that I always have to do and feel like I should. I store Violet in my toy box in its' own plastic baggie, hoping one day that I will love her more. Also, you should only use water-based lubricant while using Violet. She can be damaged if you use silicone-based lubricant. Don't hurt toys, they hurt inside.

I really loved the bulbous head since it was meant for g-spot stimulation. I always love my g-spot stimulated. This product DID reach my g-spot, but it wasn't enough pressure or vibration to carry out a full on g-spot orgasm that would make my toes curl. I really wanted to love Violet. She has a beautiful name, a beautiful color, and a wonderful concept of a design. It just didn't work out for me. The vibrations weren't the easiest to control, it has hard to press the buttons and identify the controls, and she just wasn't strong enough for any type of pleasure that my genitals really need. I wished so much for her. I hope she is better suited for someone that is into light stimulation and doesn't need vibrations for their g-spot orgasms. I know many, many, people that don't need vibrations at all for g-spot orgasms. I am just not one of them. I need pressure and vibrations to reach that glorious g-spot explosion. Violet may be exactly what you need, just not for me.

Great review, thank you!

So does this rotate at all, or just vibrate? I thought it was similar to the Rosebud but reading your review, I guess I'm mistaken.
-
Sorry that I didn't add that in my review @ToyGeek. It rotates and vibrates.. Just not enough.
