I'm gonna be completely honest: I got this thing quite some time ago, and it had taken up permanent residence in my purse.

First off, let me start out by saying that this isn't the best quality or most ingenious toy ever created. It's cheapo plastic, and after many uses, the lipstick 'head' part of mine pops off - but it pops right back on, and actually makes it a little easier to clean. Once you get the hang of using it, you'll need to peel the little sticker off the base that shows you which way to turn for on/off. If someone actually picks it up and tries to use it, they WILL know that it isn't lipstick... but hopefully you can grab it before that point.

That being said, I find it pretty awesome. The casing actually does look like a tube of lipstick and though it's a bit heavier than the average tube, it shouldn't throw up red flags for anybody rifling through your purse or dresser unless they open it. It's small enough to fit in a small compartment or your jeans/shorts without being any more noticeable than real lipstick would.

As for performance, I'd say it's 'halfway': this vibe isn't going to measure up to elite models, because that's not was it was made for. It competes nicely with other travel-sized vibes that I have, and is much quieter, more discrete, and takes up the tiniest amount of space. It's shaped like lipstick sticks are upon opening: a cylinder shape with a flat angled tip. That flat tip is just fantastic for honing in on exactly where you want the vibration to go, and it still gets plenty of vibes down the rest of the shaft. It's not thick or long at all, so I recommend it mostly for clitoral stimulation.

This is plastic, so don't use it anally - and if you absolutely have to use it anally, don't use it for anything else again. It can be cleaned with soap and water or toy cleaner, but it can't be completely sterilized - don't just stick it back in your purse and forget about it, or you may end up with an infection.

This vibe works great for its purpose, though I'd still love to have a better-quality version of this exact vibe: silicone and metal instead of plastic, maybe.

I enjoy the flat part the most, though the pointy tip can be handy, too!

I have had no problems using this in semi-public or public places. It's quiet, especially under jeans. If you're a college student with a short break between classes, this can be a great way to get rid of some pre-exam stress. I've taken it on many a road-trip for de-stressing after being in the car for hours at a time.

I've seen some other reviews that listed it as too noisy to use in public; I'm not sure if I just got a somehow quieter one, or if by coincidence my battery was always slightly run down when I tested it in a bathroom/dormroom/etc. Use your best judgment. Some places have more ambient sound that others, and my public places could have just had more cover-up noise.



-If you do keep it in your purse, be sure to check periodically for battery corrosion, as with any battery-operated electronic.
-If you're traveling anywhere you might get searched, this could be potentially awkward, so keep that in mind.
