Bound By Diamonds is made from a hard, non porous, plastic material. The coating on the bullet has a satiny, matte type texture that I just love. It is hard like plastic, but the texture reminds me of silicone. While the texture is very pleasant, it does not add any extra stimulation.

There was no smell of any kind upon opening the package, and plastic is tasteless as well.

This toy is a typical bullet shape and size, making it very discreet and easy to store, hide, or travel with.

The bullet itself measures 2 1/4". You can insert the entire bullet if you so desire, but do be careful pulling it back out by the wire as that can potentially damage the toy.

The control pack is also made from black plastic, and is adorned with pretty little diamond like rhinestone accents. It has a bright red LED type light on it when turned on.

While I love how cute and pretty this toy is, this little beauty is all about performance! It has five speeds, with no pattern variety. The lowest speed is pretty intense, and the higher speeds will knock your socks off. The vibrations are evenly distributed throughout the bullet. Many bullets will give you light buzzy vibrations, but this little guy is anything but that. The vibrations from this bullet are the more deep and rumble-y vibrations I am used to finding in a full size traditional vibrator.

The controls are very easy to use, and the indicator light tells you which level you are currently using.

For all the power you get in this bullet, it is really very quiet. The sound can not easily be heard through a heavy blanket, and would not be heard at all through a door.

The only performance issue I had with the toy is how quickly it can eat through batteries. I would recommend picking up some rechargeable batteries so you don't need to be constantly buying more.

This little bullet is very easy to clean!!! Just wipe down with a toy wipe or soap and water. Plastic is non porous, so it can also be safely sanitized for sharing with a 10% bleach and water solution.

The toy is not water proof, so do take care not to get the control pack wet, or to overly saturate or submerge the bullet.

Plastic is a safe material to use with any type of lube, including silicone.

The Bound By Diamonds is by far my favorite bullet in my collection! It has power, it has style, and is super quiet! I wish I would have found this bullet ages ago, and saved myself disappointment with so many other lesser performing bullets.
