Uma is made from ABS plastic that's wrapped with a silky smooth coat of body safe silicone. The feel of this toy is absolutely luxurious! I could literally sit around all day, rubbing my hands on this silky toy!

Though this toy is coated in silicone, there's no give to any part of it. It's very rigid which some might find a positive thing for g-spot stimulation, while others will be disappointed by it.

There was no smell when I received Uma, but it did come with lots of little black fuzzies on it. While it doesn't collect lint like a lot of the silicone toys I own, you will find that it does pick up some. The drag of this toy is also better than other toys of the same material, which is something I appreciate about it.

There are no seams other than where the silicone meets the plastic control area, and even then, it's not a big difference. The texture is nice and silky, which makes thrusting feel really smooth and comfortable. Uma comes in your choice of three beautiful colors, Purple, Lavender, and Fuchsia. I chose Lavender since it's not a color I had in my collection yet.

What I love most about this toy is the fact that it's rechargeable! I always appreciate a toy that I can charge and use, instead of constantly having to purchase batteries! The charger is made to magnetically connect to the control base of the vibrator. It's effortless since they gravitate toward each other. Use caution when setting down to charge though, because while they connect easily, they disconnect easily as well. It's not the strongest magnet, but it works well for it's purpose.



This vibrator has a very ergonomic design. It's lightweight and fits comfortably in your hand, making it very easy to hold and use even for longer periods of time. This vibrator has a very nice, slight curve to it which makes it much easier to target your g-spot while still being easy to use for clitoral stimulation.


Uma is a fairly slender toy. It starts out at a very reasonable size, and tapers a little to really help you focus on g-spot play. This makes it a positive for beginners and those that enjoy a sleeker toy, but size queens might be disappointed. However, what Uma lacks in size, it picks up in power, so it might not be much of an issue if you need a powerful toy.

The length of this toy is quite nice as well. It's not super long, but gives enough length to hit all the right spots while also leaving a nice area to grip when thrusting. Due to Uma's size, there's also not a lot of worry about hitting your cervix or causing pain, but that also depends on your anatomy.


Though Uma is a nice size, if you plan on using the box it comes in as storage, it's much more difficult to travel with. You could put it in a different pouch, but use caution, you don't want anything to accidentally happen to your vibrator!

The black box that comes with this vibrator is very unassuming. It does have 'Je Joue' and their logo printed on the top in silver, but other than that, the box is very discreet. Though this toy isn't easy to hide because of the box's size, it doesn't give away what the box contains either.

What's great about this toy is how versatile it is. Uma has five intensity levels that range from a light vibration, to an amazingly powerful one, and seven different patterns.

When you first receive Uma, you'll want to make sure you give it a nice, full charge. Inside of the box you'll find a little compartment that contains the magnetic charger. It latches on to your controls at the base of your Uma, and gets plugged in. The light on Uma will flash while charging, but will stay steady once it's fully charged. There's also a small light on the adapter itself to show you that it's plugged in. Try to be patient while your new vibrator charges, my first charge took approximately six hours. Trust me, the patience will be well rewarded!



The controls are located at the base of the toy and consist of three buttons; (+)(~)(-). To turn on the toy, you hold down the (+) button for three seconds. The toy will start on the first pattern at the lowest intensity level. Each click to the (+) button will bring the intensity level higher. After four clicks, you're at the highest setting. If that's too much, you can always click the (-) button to bring the level down. If you want to change the pattern type, you press the (~) button. When you're on the highest intensity level when you press the pattern button, you'll feel the pattern at that intensity level. Each time you press the pattern button, you'll feel it at whatever intensity level you're already on, but can change it once you're at a pattern you like. After six clicks, you'll start back over at the first pattern again. To turn Uma off, simply hold down the (-) button for three seconds.


The seven patterns are:

The pattern button is very difficult to push and is especially frustrating when you want to switch it up and change a different pattern while still in use. The (+) and (-) buttons stick out from the toy, but the (~) button doesn't. Only the little (~) symbol does.


There's a small light on Uma that flashes with each click. It's located by the name and is in the logo on the toy at the base. This is the same light that you'll see when you're charging your toy.


On top of being super powerful and having a nice variety in function, Uma is also waterproof! So you can enjoy this vibrator in the tub or shower. In the instruction booklet included, it does say to not let Uma be submerged for long periods of time, but regular use is totally fine!

Uma impresses me with how quiet it is! Even on the highest setting, you can barely hear it through the covers, and definitely not through a closed door! This makes it a wonderful choice if you're living in a dorm or have roommates, but really, anyone can appreciate a quiet toy!

Caring for Uma is very easy! Wash with warm water and antibacterial soap, or use your favorite sex toy cleaner. For a really deep clean, you can use a 10% bleach solution, but you can't boil it or put it in your dishwasher like a lot of silicone toys because of the mechanical side of it. Always make sure this toy is fully dry before recharging and/or storing.

Uma is compatible with only water based lubricants and shouldn't be kept near any other toy of similar material, since they don't play well together!

This vibrator comes with a very elegant box to store it in, and even has a small compartment for the charger. The box is much larger than the toy itself, so that might be a problem for some. If so, I'm sure you could find a nice pouch to put Uma in. I like the fact that the box makes it possible for me to store my toy and charger in the same place!

Uma comes packaged in a thin, mostly purple, cardboard box that's encased in a thin plastic bag. The box has a full color image of the toy on it, the company name, and the words "Stimulate More", not exactly discreet, aye?


The back of the box has a little information about the toy in six different languages, and the top has the company name in the center and the logo covering the background.




Upon opening the cardboard box, you'll find the durable, storage box surrounded by another layer of plastic. On the cover, there are two circular notches removed from the bottom to help you with opening the box. This elegant storage box was made to cradle Uma perfectly when it's not in use. On top of fitting the shape and size of Uma perfectly, it also has a wonderful little compartment that houses the charger and information booklet.







While some might find this box to be too large for the toy itself, I appreciate the effort and detail that Je Joue put into making this box sturdy and useful. I always like when toys come with some form of storage. On top of being useful for storage, it's elegant design makes it a great, tasteful, looking gift.

There's a very informative booklet inside the package. It gives a lot of 'Do' s and 'Don't' s and also tells you a little about the functions and how to use this toy. Along with that, it tells of a Limited Warranty, which gives some peace of mind when purchasing a toy like this.

I've never had much success in g-spot play, but that's not to the fault of this toy. Though I wasn't able to climax from internal stimulation alone, the power behind this toy still feels great!

The amazing power behind it gave me really strong clitoral orgasms, so this toy is totally worth it to me! I'm going to keep working on my g-spot though. I think if any toy can get me there, this will be the one!

The one thing that really bothered me about this toy is the stupid (~) pattern button! It's SO hard to press and makes your excitement turn into frustration very quickly! I wish that they would have made the middle button similar to the other two, it would have made for a much better experience.
