This traditional vibrator from Doc Johnson is a powerful but noisy toy that has very strong vibrations. It is best used externally, as there is a seam just below the head. It is quite long so if you want to insert this vaginally or anally, it would be a good idea to put a condom over it. There is no O-ring around the battery compartment so you can’t take it in the shower with you or submerge it.

I think it would be great for massages because the vibrations are intense. A nice soft covering for the head would give awesome massages, but nevertheless, it doesn’t come with anything like that.

The entire toy is made of hard plastic. The head is a nice smooth plastic, and the shaft is more rough. It is white and somewhat clear, so you can see how the motor works. There was also no strange odors when I received it.

This toy has a shapely design that is a bit more unique than most traditional vibrators. The shape is like an hour glass with a pronounced head.

The total length of this toy is 9 1/4” inches long, with an insertable length of 8 inches. The circumference is 3.25", so it is fairly slim. There is a seam below the head at 2 3/4” from the tip that may bother some users.

The vibrations are a little hard to describe, but they are a bit more on the rumbly side, and they don’t diminish at all when pressure is applied. The turn dial at the base gradually increases the intensity of the vibrations, and turn it the opposite way to turn it back off. It requires some effort to twist it so you may not accidentally change it during use. Since it is made of plastic, it is compatible with all types of lube.

It takes three AA batteries that are not included. The cap twists off and you insert the batteries pointy side first.

You can use a damp cloth and soap to clean this toy, just be careful not to get the battery compartment wet. Plastic won’t react with other materials so you can store it anywhere, and you don’t have to worry about loose particles sticking to it. Be sure to store it without the batteries left inside of it.

The packaging was very minimal. The toy was kept in a plastic bag cover. There is a paper inside the battery compartment that explains how to put the batteries in. I kept the paper inside hoping it would soften the noise of the toy, but it really didn’t make a difference.

I’m glad I got this as a free gift with my order. This toy is a monster. Not in size, but in sound. I wouldn’t be surprised if you could scare away the neighborhood kids with this thing and pretend it’s a missile. In fact, that might be a good use for it. Even my cats are afraid of it, and they will put up with almost anything to snuggle in bed with me, but not with this toy around.
