Travel ready temptress
Hope is great for spontaneous quickies and warm up. A great beginners g-spot toy that requires a little more work to obtain satisfaction, due to the lack of a handle to manipulate. The portability is really nice.

Pros
Fairly quiet, waterproof, small and easy to carry. Hit's the g-spot.
Cons
Too short to manipulate comfortably and securely.
I had been wanting to try one of these cute little portable g-spot vibes for quite a while. The thought of being able to stimulate my g-spot while out and about, traveling or in the car is extremely enticing to me. I love the spontaneity it would allow me to have.
When the opportunity arrived I decided to give the Hope by California Exotic a try. Hope is a dainty delight, just four and three quarter inches long, leaving three and three quarter inches for insertion. The diameter is one and five eights of an inch, nice for beginners or those who prefer smaller vibrators. Hope runs on 1-AA battery, and has a dial base to control the multi-speed vibrations that range from a light buzz to a moderate buzz equivalent to a bullet at half power.
Hope is made of hard plastic and is phthalates free. Her exterior is smooth and silky feeling. Hope's shape is designed for g-spot stimulation. Her base is bulbous and purple where the vibration dial is and then her color changes into a nice medium shade of lavender, then two bulbous areas lead to the lovely g-spot curve.
Hope is also made waterproof by a traditional gasket in the base, and she works very well in the shower. The firm plastic and accentuated curve zero in on the g-spot as intended providing a smooth, firm, pressure. I did have trouble holding Hope and adjusting the vibration with lube on my hands. Hope tends to twist inside of you and occasional adjustments are required. Once I got going Hope felt wonderful on my g-spot. Sadly as I grew wet Hope became hard to hold because the base was at my vaginal opening becoming covered by my juices.
To care for Hope, always store without the battery. She's easily cleaned with soap and water, Isopropyl alcohol, or toy wipes are also an easy option. Silicone lube works best for water play, but Hope can be used with any lube you desire. Lastly, Hope is not safe for anal play, there is no flared base to prevent loss.

Experience
I really enjoy the Hope g-spot vibrator. The vibe does what it's intended to do, but it can be difficult to get a good rhythm going because when inserted there is only about three quarters of an inch to hold onto. The g-spot stimulation is good it just takes allot of work. I do love that I can just throw it in any bag and take it with me.
The vibration power is equivalent to a bullet at half speed. I was able to achieve a clitoral orgasm but it took me longer to get there. the motor is located near the curved tip, the vibrations also carry throughout the shaft.
Hope is quiet enough that I can use her in the shower, or behind a closed door and no one is the wiser. Portability is the name of the game here, so I don't want to knock this toy too much for being short. It is enjoyable. I just wish it could accommodate one more AA battery for power and an additional two inches of length with a finger hold at the base to prevent turning and aid grip.
